Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Go ahead and check out the "fans react to Lakers Lost to Rockets". The spelling error on that ain't mine it's a yahoo or KCAL 9 error. All I gotta say is how many of those people do you think can name more than 2 lakers not name KOBE or KOBE...lol. Just thought it was funny and annoying but the best part is at the end of the clip when the reporter starts talking about how quite everyone is.

LOL...definitely not jealous

I don’t think it has anything to do with jealousy. I respect the organization and the way they go about winning. I personally just cant stand a majority of the Lakers ignorant fan base. I know there are some good laker fans who know the team inside and out and those people I love having B-ball conversations with. It’s the ignorant ones that I can’t stand and that goes back to college in Santa Barbara. That was the first time I had ever experienced the bandwagonness and ignorance at full bore that is faker fandom. That is all I was saying with the post. I will always love the Warriors and still think that the warrior fan base is just way more knowledgable about the team and just less ignorant about what we have. Like anything the warrior fanbase hans the bandwagoners and its share of ignorant fans but I would think that those are fewer and far between than what there is in Faker land.

OK so here is a conversation with the girl I am dating right now (She's a big Lakers fan):

Me: (Referring to a tough shot by Shannon Brown) “That was a pretty nice shot, I’m not too familiar with that guy.”

Her: “Who?”

Me: “Shannon Brown, the guy that just made that shot.”

Her: “Oh yeah he’s good.”

Me: “Had you ever heard of him before?”

Her: (Not catching on) “No.”

Me: “Typical Laker fan.”

Her: “At least my team wins.”

Me: (Swallowing the bile in my throat) “Kobe is a spoiled brat. Nothing will stop Stern’s Lebron-Kobe ratings orgasm.”

Her: “Ok Mr. Conspiracy theorist let’s watch the game.”

Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell? Oh no hide the children!

NUCK, All I gotta say is Priceless...

That encapsulates everything that was meant by posting the vid. See the way I look at it, it is not the Lakers that I get mad at. Like I said earlier in the post they are a storied and well run organization and I could only hope that the Warriors were able to match that type of year in, year out effort by the front office and team. I have no beef with that, what I have the beef with is the ignorance of fans that root for that team. I have lost count of how many times I have had “conversations” with Faker fans about what’s going on with the team, who’s looking good, what needs to be done to make them play better, etc…typical b-ball talk and I get this blank stare from them. What is wierd is that it is almost seems as if I know their team better than they do, which for me is more about knowing your enemy but that is a totally different point. Basically the only time I get a reaction out of them is if I bring up KOBE, then it turns into a mindless defense of anything and everything he does.
It is almost like they are almost all Manchurian Candidates and when they see KOBE they pop into defense mode and just get ridiculous with their arguments and comments. Personally I just like to think that Warrior fans are just a better breed of fan that are more knowledgable about their team and don’t just like them because its the cool thing to do. Don’t get me wrong the WE BELIEVE team brought on it’s share of bandwagon fans but even our bandwagon fans could probably go 5 deep into the roster.
So what I think it boils down to with this problem is that I abhor ignorant basketball fans and it just seems that I get a lot of those ignorant interactions with laker fans. Remeber I don’t hate all FAKER fans, just dumb ones. I mean if I could meet Faker fans that weren’t so blindly loyal and couldn’t recoginze flaws in their team or things that needed to be imrpoved upon, than I might stop having interactions where maybe they could identify Benga on the bench and not just say “who’s dat guy on the bench? When did he start sitting bench on the team.” Then I might possibly have more respect for their fandom and “passion”. Until then though,
LAKERS SUCK!!!..lol

We should probably start a thread about the KOBE v. LBJ foul contest...

I was thinking that since it is a lock the lakers are gona be in the finals (barring any miracle beat down the rockets or denver put on LA) because David Stern would crap and brick and have an annuerism at the same time if that didn’t happen. We should start a thread on how many fouls are going to be called in those games for KOBE and King james and just how that will affect the game play. I have a feeling that if that series happens it is going to boil down to who ever makes the most free throws between KB and LBJ is going to win the championship. Maybe we can see if Vegas is taking action on this and place down some bets…lol

My warning of a fan shot i made said it should be a comment

so I hope Kobe gets injured. To me, it’s not wrong to wish that. I’ve never wished injury upon anyone, but he’s been getting away with cheap shots on the court for years. So if he’s injured, it’s just karma and justice. Please make it happen basketball Gods.
