It's actually dirty south music.
I mean, I can’t be the only one who heard David Banner.
Well I guess it's half and half.
The song is by Dem Hoodstarz, who are a Bay Area Hyphy group. The song is produced by David Banner, a rapper/producer from Mississippi.
I guess the Mississippi/Bay Area connection relates to Monta Ellis, haha.

I like it
It’s very smooth and really gives you a feel of Warriors games. What I like is that it shows how good the team can be when they’re healthy. It helped to relive moments, showcased the youngsters, showed Jackson’s leadership, gave an example of our crazy energy etc. etc. etc.
The only problem I have with the video is the title. Although people usually don’t give a f*ck about titles, I still think the guy should have picked a different name. First of all, that guy wasn’t even the person who made the first “In a Golden State of Mind” video. Also, the first video was about the Golden State Warriors’ Playoff run in 2007, so why would someone make a part two of a video that was about us being in the Playoffs? We only won 29 games this season, not worthy of a “sequel”.
But other than that the video is very good. I’m glad that there’s other mixmakers out there showing love for the Warriors.

Nah I don't have a problem at all with the mix.
I really loved the mix. It’s one of the best i’ve ever seen. I just meant that the title could have been different, since my homie Hustle N’d Heart made the first “In a Golden State of Mind”.

Watching this video actually made me think for a secod that we have a god team, but it didn’t last long.
If there were some highlights of blocking out and rebounding..
we may have won a few more games.
