Brandon Jennings on Ricky Rubio: "I think the dude is all hype." (EDITED)
looks like Jennings was singing a different tune after the actual game.

He's basing his opinion on what he saw from Rubio from when they played each other.
Rubio had 0 points, 2 assists and 1 or 2 turnovers. I don’t think Brandon would lie if he knew that Rubio was really good. But still, one game shouldn’t be enough to decide whether someone is all hype or not.

lol i saw this...
i figured it would be on here too. i agree that rubio is overhyped. i don’t think he’s bad but i don’t know if he will be great in the nba. he’ll be solid. i’ve watched his videos and just assumed that other people saw something i didn’t. i agree that he doesn’t seem that impressive. not only is he a past first PG (not a bad thing) he is a pass only PG… that said, he does have intangibles and experience that could propel him above what his skills indicate.
im concerned about jennings talking trash. but im convinced that if he is willing to open his mouth and call out one of the (supposedly) most talented players in the draft, he must be willing to go out there, work hard, and do everything to prove that its not just talk. i hope he uses this as motivation… despite this not-so-smart decision to trash talk prior to the draft, i think this actually increases my opinion on jennings. now he better be willing to go work and back up his mouth…

yeah.
He trash talks about Rubio but he seems to respect all the other point guards in the draft. Hopefully it’s not a “black vs. euro” type of thing; seeing Brandon and Jonny sitting there laughing at Rubio kind of reminds me of the elementary type of bullying where the guy who can’t speak English gets made fun of by everyone at school. I don’t know, i’m weird.

I hope he’s more Gary Payton than Hot Sauce, but that don’t mean it’s true. Just because he runs his mouth doesn’t mean he’s going to back it up…

Truthfully
It didnt sound personal, he seems to really think he’s the better player. I respect that!
