summary

-Basically says that he’ll back Nelson and Nelson will back him
-He will be watching the draft but doesn’t know anyone in the draft
-hints that he’s faster than the boxer Andre Ward
-Fitz asks him who he would think would win a boxing tournament out of the Warriors and Monta says I dont know who do you think? Fitz chooese Morrow and Monta for some reason
-Monta says he doenst care about doubters and says he will be a leader for this team
-says he doesn’t know where theses rumors are coming from. He has going to be a Warrior for the 6 years and hopefully retire one.
-also mentions that he wants to promote boxing or something after his career is over

morrow in a boxing contest? does he have boxing experience or something. i’d put kaz and maggs in that discussion.

Monta took boxing to increase his footwork.

that’s interesting. i had no idea. but it still doesn’t explain morrow. was morrow in monta’s boxing class?

I'm going to say the truth of the situation if probably somewhere in the middle.

Warriors, Stupidest franchise in the league.

"It takes a special kind of anti-mojo for a team to miss the playoffs 14 out of 15 seasons. Like, say, the Warriors under Chris Cohan."

Well to AB1s credit he did say it was all just for fun

I don’t know if TK said that though.

There's a party in my mind.
And I wish that I was there.

another cat's paw gambit

from the mississippi syndicate, with kawakami the cat. he doesn’t mind getting his fur singed because it serves to get more people to read and re-blog his disinformation on the other big sites, giving him more notoriety.

they’ve used kawakami the same manner the old-school publicists would plant semi-plausible but blown up rumors with the gossip columnists, to increase their client’s visibility quotient. twice now in about six months, ellis himself very publicly quashes the rumors and he looks like a stand up guy. his syndicate meanwhile can sit back and contemplate the feedback and chaos, learn which way the public opinion breeze is blowing, and in this recent instance help the agendas of the agents for the draft prospects.

don’t forget ellis sounded very positive and gave assurances he’d work hard to improve and become a great player in the press conference after he signed his big contract. i don’t doubt his intentions, but his capability of fulfilling them might require resources beyond him—we’ll see how much effort he puts into improving his defense, for example.

other than his injury

every season ellis has proven that he can vastly improve his game over the summmer….out of everyone on the team, i trust his ability to improve the most (most improved player one year, runner up the next year)

i really think he will transition into being a point guard THIS SEASON…and be at TP level offensively, but that’s just me.

we got a strong core of players that have shown they can improve dramatically (ellis, morrow, randolph)….if they continue down the right path, i see good things for this team….if only we can get rid of maggs (a player that has shown he CANT improve) we will have a very solid young and improving core.

why do they not mention....

players like Brandan and Marco. Throughout this summer I have heard various interviews with warrior players and they mention Randolph,Morrow,Turiaf,Jack,Andris, etc but always seem to leave Brandan and Marco out. Even on warriors.com they mention all the above mentioned players as next years squad but once again never mention Brandan and Marco. I am starting to beleive that they will not be here next year and I for one would be really upset….

yeah it seems that ever since AR got here no one cares about B Wright

but i hope brandan is out somewhere working on his game just like the above players

Let's hope so

competition brings out the best, but if it doesn’t, then you belong on the bench

Lets hope

it stays that way
