wow....he seems really cool

and having a point forward would be awesome IF monta becomes our PG

ellis
jackson
williams
randolph
andris

i could see this working…since everyone (other than andris) would be very willing passers

and his defensive abilities would be a major plus

but really…imo…he wont be the BPA unless we make a package to get him later…also im still under the impression that ellis wont be our longterm PG (altho i hope he can develop into it) so we need a PG, and there are plenty BPA at 7 that we can take

If the Warriors pick Williams...

we will officially be the NBA equivalent of the Oakland Raiders.

LOL

unless we trade down of course…but ya i agree

holiday/evans/jennings/flynn/curry will all be availible at ….and they are all high on ‘BPA list’

yeah...

I can’t take another season without a “real” point guard on our roster. At this point, I’d take Holiday, Evans, Jennings, or Flynn. I just hope the Warriors don’t royally screw this one up. I’m trying to be optimistic but for some crazy reason, I just don’t trust Nelson/Riley/Rowell.

well...

if ellis magically becomes a stud PG over this summer…more power to em…but the chances are slim

so imo…we draft holiday…hes a solid pass first PG (according to all the draft combine stuff ive read and what ive seen of him at the point in HS)…and he is the best defender out of all of the PG’s that we’d have a chance to get, helping with our dribble pen and perimeter defense.

if hes gone at the 7….we can take the gamble on jennings being able to play along side monta…or evans…

realistically this draft doesnt have anyone availible to us that would really anger me if we did not get…the closest person to that for me would be holiday…but regardless…i dont think even the warriors management can really screw this one up too badly

You don't NEED a "real" point guard to win.

The Spurs? Tony Parker. The Lakers? Derek Fisher (I guess he’s a real PG, but he doesn’t handle the ball as much as some, and just defends/shoots open threes). The Heat? Jason Williams. The only team you can make an argument for is Boston, but at the time, Rondo really wasn’t much the defenses were worrying about. It’s all about a dominant big man.
