"
-Golden State appears to be exploring possibilities to improve on the defensive end in hopes of making a strong run to the playoffs next season. One trade that has reportedly been offered by the Charlotte Bobcats that may help on that front would involve packaging Kelenna Azubuike and Marco Belinelli in exchange for Raja Bell. The Warriors are pondering the offer, but would have to get Azubuike’s consent to make the trade unless they decided to wait until July 24th.

In other Warriors news, it appears that despite not having worked him out, Stephen Curry is the team’s main target should he be available with the 7th pick. Other options include Jordan Hill, Tyreke Evans and James Johnson. "

man...I don't wana see KAZ go,hes a warrior.

but trading for Bell will REALLY benefit us.
this line-up will play defense[assuming we dont draft a PG]
-Monta Ellis [questionable D,might improve next season]
-Raja Bell [ nothing more need be said ]
-Stephen Jackson[Great post-up defender]
-Anthony Randolph[great weakside defender,he WILL improve his defense]
-Andris Biedrins[average defender,not bad]

Don Nelson – NO DEFENSE
I’d like that line-up though
Anthony Morrow,Cj Watson,Jamal Crawford,Corey Maggette,Ronny Turiaf,Rob Kurz,Davidson and Brandan Wright
now thats a deep team
apologies if i missed anyone

but Raja old (33).
not defender once was.

besides Kelenna & Marco were hardly the reason this team struggled defensively.

I’m not sure if this is doable:

Warriors Get:
Raja Bell
Gerald Wallace
12th overall pick

Bobcats Get:
(Kelenna Azubuike or Marco Belinelli)
Corey Maggette
7th overall pick

If we trade down, we can still get our pick of a pretty solid point guard, likely Jonny Flynn or Ty Lawson.

I thought I’d throw it in there in case they didn’t like it without the picks.

Flynn guarantee go by 10

It’s well known at this point that Flynn is not getting past Milwaukee’s pick at #10 at worst, but his chances of going 4th seem to be improving by the day.

why are we looking at curry?

he is basically another shoot first combo guard who is undersized. at best he is alot like crawford only with no handles. i would rather have hill, jennings, flynn, or evans. but i favor flynn out of all those

no worry.
OKC, Sac, Wiz, Twolves all like Curry. work him out. one will take.
that or Bobcats/Knicks try trade up for him.
he no get to us.

btw, he nothing like Crawford. he actually shoot good.

This seems like a decent trade. Bell is known as a perimeter defensive player and he is also a very quick guard. Can shoot the three. But here’s why it actually favors the bobcats. Raja is almost 33. The bobcats are betting on either Kaz or Marco — both younger and cheaper, by the way — to basically either replace Bell’s productivity, or, I would go even farther and say one of the two will become a better player than Bell. Stupid trade for the Warriors. Keep both — both will get better. I wouldn’t even trade just Kaz (who is 25) for Bell, let alone Kaz and Marco. Kaz had a better statistical year than Bell last year, and he is way younger. I think Marco is also a legit player. Keep the team stocked.
