Omen for the season?

So...... With the new talkative face of the Golden State Warriors appearing to have hit a "technical" glitch with today's conference call with Anthony Randolph.... does this bode badly for the season? Or do we think...."Yeah...playoffs just round the corner!"

Well I guess the latter depends on the length of the street and for many of us, the street has been a "no exit" freeway for far too long now!

So...WILL people make their voices heard and protest for the removal of Robert Rowell in light of the fact that he has still yet to apologize or make any form of offer to last seasons Club 200 Season Ticket Holders who he openly told were "Screwed" by this organisation.

The problem with many businesses today, including Wall Street and the major banks and even our own beloved GSW's is that "Crap flows downhill" and when we look around to find ourselves in the midst of a mess MANY of us want to see those at the top of the tree fired for incompetance, rather than be given financial handouts or continued contracts.

Robert Rowell's EXTREMELY poorly chosen words WILL come to haunt him unless he makes a significant effort to make amends with the fans, oh and by the way "Bobby" (as your ticket sales like to all you) I am still awaiting our 1 on 1 interview which I am willing to conduct at any time!

So in light of the potential Hawks trade for Crawford and the draft..... will we be:

"Just not quite good enough again...."

"forever harking back to the Run TMC or We Believe Team"

"A team that no-one wants to play as we will rip the court up running and shooting the lights out"

Oh and I believe the unofficial reason why AR could not make the call today was not because the Hamster that usually powers the computer of Broadnet was infact out cruising the streets in his Red Kia Motor! instead it is reported that AR heard an ice-cream van go by the studio and as he is trying to bulk up....he ran off after it!

;)

As if telling the season ticket holders "You got screwed." wasn't bad enough...

broken promises, flaked meetings (or avoided), lying (Sjax extension). They just don’t get IT.

I wonder if the money from the Hawks trade will be pocketed or used to sign a PG or backup PF (bass, Milsap, CV).

Chris Cohan and Robert Rowell? Oh no hide the children!

That makes it sound like you think the trade was bad for the Warriors…

by Missing Barry on Jun 24, 2009 4:18 PM PDT up reply actions

It depends on where that money goes.

It’s pretty clear this trade isn’t for a talent upgrade or immediate results.

If the money goes to a team need then it is a good trade. If the trade is pure salary protection then it is simply a bad trade. The money from the jrich trade went straight to the bank so precedent does not bode well for us, but we’ll see. I think Rowell knows his job is on the line and that it would be bad for him if the fans don’t feel he is investing the extent of his resources to win.

I see it as we picked up two expiring contracts (good), and got rid of Crawford in the process (also good). Spending the money wisely, which of course we should attempt to do, is just an added benefit. JRich trade was the same way, it free’d up a lot of future money, unfortunately, we ended up throwing that money at Maggette.

Robert Dale Rowell (April 8, 1955 – November 15, 2005) was a murderer executed by lethal injection by the U.S. state of Texas. He was convicted of the May 10, 1993 murder of Raymond David Mata in a Houston, Texas crack house.

Gotta love the Bay Area drama ;)

Rowell should be convicted of murdering thousands of Warriors fans’ hopes and dreams. To me, that’s also worthy of lethal injection.

Ominous Indeed

I also received the automated phone call alerting me that the AR call has been postponed due to technical difficulties. However, I never received any previous communications that there was a call scheduled for today. Kind of like getting a coupon for recalled cookie dough.

I am still holding on to hope that the Warriors office can improve season ticket relations over last year. The bar is certainly low enough.

See you in Nov Brit?

Not sure at the moment...

I have not renewed but had planned on spending less money on fewer games but buying more expensive seats…

However that could all change over the summer…. to be honest much is up in the air for me business wise at the moment, so we’ll see….

All you guys whining after they got rid of the

salary like you all wanted. Quit your bitching. We cleared alot of cap space for a guy who was an unwanted black hole.
