RealGM / Yahoo Sports : Amare to GS being discussed
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports the Warriors and Suns have discussed a deal that would involve Amare going to GS for a package that would be centered around Andris Biedrins and the No. 7 pick in the draft.
I know that the Amare rumor was posted on this site earlier but I think the new update is that its involving our draft pick. Maybe it takes Marco to complete the deal. Id say pull the trigger.

Editor's Note (Atma Brother #1): Thanks for the quick update CSalMJS! To consolidate the discussion please post your comments in this front page story- RUMOR: Warriors inquired about Suns' Amare Stoudemire and offered Andris Biedrins

lol.
For some reason i’m holding back because I don’t want Marco to leave. lol.
I don’t know, I was kind of excited for Marco once I heard that Crawford got traded; it meant more playing time for him and he still has a lot of potential.
Oh well, i’d probably do it anyways. But Marco could have really helped out coming off the bench. We would have had a real deadly bench.

Just saw this...
I think the “rent” thing really doesn’t matter, because there’s such a plethora of good free-agent talent in the 2010 class anyway. Besides, if Amare does well in GS, wouldn’t you think he’d be willing to sign with us?
Biedrins + Crawford is 20 mil OFF the books. We have SPACE.
I like the trade… anything that puts All-Stars on our roster is a good move.

This would be a very good start for Larry Riley, too.
Giving the Warriors an athletic 20/10 big man. We haven’t had one of those since 1994.
