Okay, so as an NBA fan I am utterly confused.  Lakers get Pau Gasol for next to nothing.  Orlando gets Vince and the Cavs get Shaq, and what did they give up???!?!!!?  NOTHING! 

Now looking at the Warriors, (who are rumored to be in Serious talks about getting Amare, although they woundn't get him for nothing)  maybe they just don't have the right expiring contracts, but why can't they get in on these kinds of trades.  They got Baron for next to nothing, but he was an injury prone player who had attitude problems.  That is NOT the same as Pau Gasol.

So I'm just curious about why teams that are already good seem to be able to pull off these amazingly one sided trades, while the Warriors don't.  If the Dubs could have got Gasol Vince and Shaq for the crap that was traded for those three players they would be a better team then they are right now.  But at least we've got Jackson and Magette tied up for the next 4 season...  (sarcasm in case you can't tell)
