Read the last paragraph of Memphis's pick, I think the dubs should at least consider making a move to land Rubio, without compromising Randolph. But then again I ain't no Larry Riley..

I would deal Wright and our seventh pick for their second pick.

I know..

stupid ESPN insider. I refuse to pay just on principle, so im not sure
who Ford has us picking at 7, But I would even go as far as do Wright, #7 and, gulp dare i say Ant Morrow?

Hey, it would hurt but if we would get to keep the likes of monta, and randolph, and be able to run the rest of the boys with Ricky Rubio @ point, I think we would be not only the fastest team in the pacific, but our scoring wouldnt take a punch. Plus we still would have buikie, and jax.

just my pipe dream.

Chad Ford-Insider

Im officially offering up my services as the guy who stupidly bought ESPN Insider and now gets to read all the stuff that everyone else doesn’t, and give it to you for free. Ford has us going with Flynn at 7 (with Evans coming off the board to Minn). He says its a toss between Flynn and Jennings but that “(Jennings) is a much farther away as a project…” and “Flynn has the killer instinct this team is looking for.”

why no love for curry?

Curry is bigger (6’3) than Jennings (6’1) or flynn (5’11). And he can shoot, unlike those two. He’s proven he can pass by playing the point successfully over the last season. Jennings didn’t even play much point in Europe — he played mostly off the ball.

I think Curry would be a better pick if Holiday is already off the board.

because

many here are scared that curry wont be able to defend anyone due to his lack of length and athleticism. His lack of explosiveness has many concerned that he will struggle to create offense for both himself and others. Everyone knows he can stroke it, but they don’t know whether they are getting JJ ‘Better Basketball’ Redick or Mo Williams.

LeBron James? I'm the only Ty Crane.

Morrow will be better than Curry

Well,
not sure about hat yet since nobody has actually seen Curry’s game translate into the NBA, but Anthony Morrow is our Curry right now, a not so explosive, not super athletic guard, who can stroke it (remember guys, he led the league in 3% this year). And anthony morrow is about 6’ 3". I dont think we need two of the same types of players, I still opt for a PG with playmaking skills, not just a pure scoring pg. we have enough scorers.

And I'm pretty sure Curry will never rebound like Morrow

but morrow will never distribute like curry. curry made huge strides this year to learn the point and did so pretty well. he’s not steve nash, but the guy can run an offense.
