Apparently Amare is staying in Phoenix
The Suns may try to sign him to an extension. This is deja vu from 2007 when we almost got Garnett. So sad...

Deja Vu?
NO, he;s not being traded to Boston or any other team. He would be staying in Phoenix and we can all rejoice.

actually the only way we would want Amare is extended
so this is one step closer to a done deal when it happens

I disagree...
then again, if they pay him max, chances are, they want him pretty bad. Since that is what he’s demanding, a max salary, I think we’ll have a hard time getting him. Not only that, Rowell will not appreciate having to pay max to a guy who doesn’t pass or play D. If they’re signing him prior to getting an agreement with us, they must want to keep him, seeing as they know there is no guaranteed trade coming.
