"Just because they have a lot of players at my position, it doesn't mean anything," DeRozan said. "A lot of players come in and takes people's spots."

DeRozan added that he really thinks the Warriors are interested in drafting him.

"I get a feeling that coach (Don) Nelson is really interested," DeRozan said. "He talked to me, told me I did well and said he'll see me soon."

it does mean something

it means he should get himself a pillow so his butt doesn’t get sore on the bench

Totally agree, unless we make a big trade

we will be drafting a PG. Nellie may not play his rookies as much as people like, but he is brilliant at the poker match of draft day bluffs, so he gets his guy. What he did to Sacto on Randolph vs.Thompson last year was brilliant. One thing for sure, if Nellie likes aplayer he certainly isn;t gonna let the whole world know it. So the fact he says he likes DeRozan more than likely means he has zero interest in him.

classic nellie

ya he just wants other teams to bite early so we can have more of a chance at holiday and such

I'm not too high on Holiday, others as well....

“Nearly everyone feels that Holiday is tremendously overrated. Guys like Burlison and Freitas make a living scouting West Coast talent and have seen these guys dozens of times in high school as well as college (Holiday). Burlison mentioned a number of factors including the fact that Holiday was never a point guard in high school (so why should we assume he’s one now?), the notion that he’s an athletic combo like Westbrook (not even close to being a freak athlete, like Westbrook) and the idea that he’s a lock down defender, he’s not (when UCLA played Washington State they had to take him off Klay Thompson because he was giving up too many points).

Everyone agreed that Holiday being considered a potential top 3 or 4 pick is absolutely absurd.

The consensus about Jennings is that he’s a legit top 10 pick regardless of his play in Europe. He’s a tough kid with excellent skills and despite a rough finish to the season in Rome the fact that skinnier point guards like Aaron Brooks and Rajon Rondo are having success at the NBA level helps his cause. "

idk why people are so high on jennings

i wouldnt mind getting him….but he has proven NOTHING. he hasnt gone to any combines, he’s been trash in europe…many say if he gets passed the #7 pick he wont go until the mid/late teens, which i can really see happening if we dont pick him.

draftexpress.net has some pretty good posts on both players

I agree

Jennings has made some bone-headed choices. Will it drop him outta the lottery? Doubt it. Do we want a flashy fireball or an in-control general? Personally I am warming up to Flynn. Anxious to see what trades will take place…

i don't think it means anything

its not even a smoke screen. nellie probably says that about every player they work out. he only is honest about them once they’re on the team and riding the bench.

besides, a lot of projections have him going at #6 anyway, so nellie would know better than to be so confident if he was a legitimate target.
