Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Dubs win the Battle for NorCal by 3 against the Kings 98-95

S.Curry - 29 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast. Played horribly first half but decided to take the ball to the hoop more during the second. Bad first half; great second half but didn't really pass the ball.

AR4 - 24 pts, 11 reb, 5 blocks on INCREDIBLE shooting efficiency. Beat Thompson today for the battle of NorCal.

Morrow - DNP. Was hoping that he would play, but I guess he still has that bum ankle.

Cartier Martin - Who's this kid? Played incredible today. 6ft7in with 27 pts and is an incredible shooter. Not as great shooter as Morrow, but still solid. Needs to become a better rebounder for his size but this is a guy to keep an eye out for in the summer league.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like this kid Curry is a SG ala ME, (and that’s not a good thing).

But who knows, its early still.

There's a party in my mind.
And I wish that I was there.

Curry is great at protecting the ball when he dribbles while ME8 is not the best; but we’ll have to see if this is true once the season starts. I think Curry stopped passing in the second half simply because his teammates where not scoring after he dished the ball out. Sounds familiar? yeah, that’s how it was at Davidson for him. So we’ll have to see how it all turns out in the regular season but right now we can’t ignore that he might have been hesitant to pass due to lack of confidence in teammates.

disagree, he does what it takes to win. If that means 25 in a half

then be it. Keep in mind our team in the Summer League is not very deep with Morrow out so he kind of had to take the game over to win it. When he is surrounded by guys who can score he will pass it more.
I’m impressed. He seems to have that special quality.

He had great passes. People weren’t in sync with him, though. Give him some time playing with our team. He’ll learn to pass to Beans, for example. beans will catch get high % shots. It’ll be deadly.

yup, you’re correct. He did what he need to in order to win, even if it meant not passing to some of his teammates. At least we know that he can take over a game.

Why would you want him to pass to those guys? They miss every shot, unless of course he’s passing to AR.

Martin...

could fill a spot. Ya’ never know. If Belli and Maggette go, we could use a Cartier. I like him so far. Two good games up to now.

When everyone is together

Curry will be getting around 5- 7 assist. When you have weapons like Ellis, Maggette, Jackson, Randolph, Biedrins and Buike you will get people who can finish plays for you unlike these guys. And who is Martin? He should be our summer league guy to make the team this year. Cut Davidson

lol. i still want to know why Randolph shot the 3 sec. def. technical FT instead of Curry. i loved how they both looked at each other like “what the hell are you doing here?”
