I'm suprised

Wow, this is the second time another blog accepted a deal of ours. This one carries more weight then the Detroit one as we would lose Maggette, Marco, and Wright for James Jones, Dorrell Wright and Michael Beasley. The heat fans like it (http://www.peninsulaismightier.com/2009/7/27/964685/trade-proposal-from-a-warrior-fan) and the poll shows they like it even more then the Maxiell trade. Would you guys pull the trigger on this trade?( And yes this was another fanshot but this one is just saying that they like it.) It seems other teams value Marco and Wright more then we do.

Again? Wow.

it would be a pretty good trade

It would help reduce the guard jam we have and would add beef to our lineup. Dorrell proved he can play with pressure during the playoffs too and we get a potential all star with beasley

Marco and Wright would fit well with the Heat.

I honestly think the Miami Heat would benefit abundantly more if this trade went down. On paper, Beasly along side AR or AB looks great. Even a combination of AR at the 3 (once he develops more at the SF) Beasly at the 4, and AB at the 5 looks good on paper (also throw in Turiaf with that mix somehow.)

I don’t think James Jones or Dorrell Wright would get much run unless we end up with major injuries again. Don Nelson will be extra hard on Beasly. As a second year player I doubt he will be mentally tough to figure out Nellie’s mind games or truly understand the concept of earning your keep in a deep squad for the Warriors. Maybe he could figure it out in 2 years but would he be patient enough to deal with all that crap and be dedicated to prove his worth with the Dubs? He may just end up complaining and wanting out while strongly believing he could be a success on another team.

On the other end, I think a Marco Belinelli and Dwayne Wade backcourt combination is absolutely lethal. 6’5 at PG in Marco that is capable of shooting the lights out like A-Mo, has underrated court vision (on this site anyways), is a good facilitator, and is willing to play aggressive defense. Alongside a stud guard in D-Wade? Holy crap. If I was Wade, I’d seriously ask for this trade to happen. With Wade’s experience in the Olympics and him being the leader in blocks last year as a Guard, I’m sure he could convince Rocky that they could be the best defensive backcourt in the NBA.

Brandan Wright would fit well at the 3 with the front court of Jermaine O’Neal and Hasslem. Probably explode as a stud SF because I think B Wright would compliment that front court very well.

Marco Belinelli and B Wright just need the opportunity. I honestly think their value is highly overlooked on the Warriors. I’ll keep saying it as I know it gets wearingly exhausting to hear, but the Rocky Belinelli PG Project hasn’t been given a proven chance and would work well with Dubs.

Marco alongside Monta. Marco alongside Morrow. Marco alongside Curry. Marco alongside Buike. Marco alongside Stack Jack. Marco throwin up 37 alley oops to AR in a game.

Give him a proven chance.

Marco Belinelli got game. Don’t sleep on it.

If we can’t see it. Some other team will.

Oh. my bad.

Forgot Maggz was part of this trade proposal.

If BW developed some sort of consistent outside game from 15-18 feet, it could work for the Heat with that front court.

Still wouldn’t mind having BW, Haslem, and JO in the front court regardless. Maggz, Haslem and JO could work too.

Amen

I don’t want to this trade because I think our players haven’t gotten a real chance but i don’t forsee them getting a chance.
It’s better to get a guy who will get a chance

Problem is. How in the flying world do you get a chance with Nellie? Look at Rob Kurz when he had a career game vs. the Nuggets. He scored 26 points or something?

Guess what your reward is playing under Nellie after having a fantastic game?

You get to sit the pine the very next game.

One issue...

Beasley does all the same things Maggs does, he is just younger and has attitude issues but it is still a good deal. But he plays no post defense but also could become a star. I am split on this.

Nellie: "Your a rookie"

this is a very good trade

i want to see beasley in a warriors jersey. and we get dorell wright who hopefully turn out to be a future allstar from wut i herd he’s still on the way to prove himself. Very good in listening and not to mention he’s dwayne wade’s closest friends. he’s 6’8 210 i like his frame for a SF thats like another mcgrady maybe. So i think we do this at an instant. Dont forget james jones too..
