Corey Maggette: Out one month after wrist surgery
I was just watching NBA tv and on the NBA News bar at the bottom of the screen it says Corey Maggette is out one month after having wrist surgery. Obviously him being out over the summer does not really affect us, but it has to make one wonder how injury prone he will be the next few years.

Last year he was hampered by various injuries, especially his hamstrings. If that was the only time he has missed time due to injury I would just ignore it, last season was a throw away season anyways, but he has NEVER played a full season. In his ten year career he has played 640 of 820 games (not including playoffs), thats 78% of the time. A very notable point is that Maggette has never played real major minutes, only 3 seasons with more then 35 minutes a game and a career average of less then 29.3 minutes per game.
I find it very hard to believe this is going to get any better as he ages. Unfortunately his contract is also getting bigger.

I like Maggette's ability to score and respect him for willingly coming off the bench last year, but I don't think he is a benefit to our team at this point and his injury woes really bother me. Not even going to get into the fact that he kills all ball movement. Imagine paying him 10 million a year in a few years to play 25 or so minutes 50 games a year.

I hope Corey redeems himself this year
he should get injured less now because he’s coming off the bench and is not the go-to guy.
Its time for a change...

Good and bad news.
Bad news: No Maggette free throw attempts.
Good news: More playing time for Morrow, Bellinelli, Buike.

Maggette actually averaged 3.4 assist a game?
That shows he did pass the ball and i think Maggette is a great 6th man for us. But we do need to shed that contract( What was the FO thinking)

his contract is long and i agree he's not good enough to do things by him self.
id like to trade his contract and give buike more time to develop and JACKSON starts.
CURRY/LAW/CLAXTON
ELLIS/MORROW
JACKSOn buiike
RANDOLPH
BIEDRINS

so he’s a 10 year veteran and he peaked 5 years ago- sounds about wrong… most expendable Warrior imo sooner the better let’s get a real 3, 4, or 3/4 that can defend for him if at all possible…In this case stats do lie because he is not the level of player of most 20 ppg guys at least not these days he’s hampering the development of our young 2s and 3s just by being on the roster his scoring can very easily be replaced…If your points are more than 10 times your assists you are more of a ballhog than Kobe.

Kobe Bryant
I know it’s offtopic but speaking of Kobe (unfortunately) Brat is right there in the name. If you gave Shaq Odom, Wade, Ariza, and Gasol or Bynum that team would not be taken to 7 games by Houston or have any games close enough for Howard to have to choke it away at the stripe. Give me a break you finally won without Shaq. Look who you won WITH! I hope he goes through what Tom Brady just did which proves that such entitled-feeling jerks do sometimes get what they deserve. Not hardly close to the man as an individual that Jordan was. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then how about not scooping up a 16-year-old (Kobe’s wife) when you’re 21 and in the f’ing NBA! Sorry people I don’t deny his skill I just hate him so much sometimes I have to share it with strangers at random times.
