It just dawned on me yesterday as I was looking at the current rosters for next year and what the Warriors playoff chances were as of right now.
For sure playoffs:
Spurs: Of course
Mavs: Most likely
Blazers: Pretty sure
Jazz: Great coach top 3 Pg I think they make it, they had just as much injury issues as us last year and still got in
Ok so thats 6 teams in wiith two spots left
Teams on the bubble
Hornets: CP best Pg in the game good compliment with West. Other than that they suck and have no depth and when i say no depth I mean absolutely no depth
Warriors: Make your own arguements, I could write for hours on this one
Suns: Couldnt make the playoffs last year when healthy(minus Amare), lost Shaq, gonna lose barnes and hill, Nash getting frustrated. Ok does everyone remember the year Amare burst onto the scene, the Suns had a great year and everyone was raving about him, the next year he was out all year and the suns did even better without him. I dont think he is that valuable and that season proved it to me. Team definately on the decline.
Rockets: No Yao no McGrady no Artest looking pretty bad for the Rockets this season but I still put them as a bubble team cuz they seem to be able to gut out wins no matter what they are up against
Teams that are most likely lottery bound:
So guys I hope you are seeing what I am seeing here and that is that we have an extremely legitimate shot at making the playoffs. Looking at it like this definately makes me feel like we could even sneak out a 7th seed and not have to play the Lakers in the first round, Even though that would be an awesome exciting series. Are you guys feeling me on this or what? I think we could easily have a better record than all those bubble teams. I know my assesments of all these teams was not thourough, and my grammar and spelling suck, but as bball fans im pretty sure you guys can make your own arguements along these lines. I hate to say it too but i might have even put the Clips as an on the bubble team this year.
