As always the pics are looking cleaner every year. Hopefully the online play will be a little better modified. I couldn't stand waiting twenty minutes to play a game.

Live or 2k?

I like Live’s gameplay better but 2k has better graphics

That’s only because EA bought the NFL exclusive rights back in 2006(?), so there hasn’t been any competition since then.

Yes, but even before then, the Madden series was way more popular and far superior (in terms of gameplay and graphics) than the nfl 2k series. On a side note, the EA MLB series was my favorite above all, but thats another discussion for another time

couldnt agree more

those 2K football (ESPN) games were so much better than madden it wasnt even close. After that last one, 2k5, madden had no choice except to buy out the competion because they were going to get smoked, just like how live is getting smoked by the basketball series.

also, the only reason madden was popular before (pre 2k series) was because there really werent many close alternatives and once one appeared EA acted like a bunch of sissies and got all the NFL naming rights.

I hate EA for that. Instead of competition which would have forced them to make a better game, we are now stuck with minimal cost sensitive upgrades every year and cant do anything about it. Because of that, I havent purchased a EA game since.

it's just a game.

If they have our out of bounds play where Jackson throws the lob to Monta and he throws it down. I love it when they do that play. Does anyone know what they call that play in real life? But GSW are going to win the championship like always in 2k10 for my franchise
