I don't think I ever posted this old school piece on the GSoM front page. I created it two seasons ago when Baron was still on the team. Despite the news of Jackson wanting to be traded, I really appreciated his feedback on my work.
For two and a half seasons, Jackson gave me his thumbs up, a big smile and laugh or a simple nod during shoot arounds at home games. When he really liked the designs, Jackson would point them out to players (even on other teams) and coaches and told them... "Look at my new sign of the week!"
I greatly appreciated his support. Thanks Jax!

Kinda a random topic, but when you came up with the kid curry nickname I found out that you were a Cudder fan. I heard a sampler of his album and the ish is dope. It’s really innovative and although it has a bit of that dark mescudi, it’s gonna be absolutely amazing. Just tryin to keep you in the loop in case you hadn’t heard because you always have our (gsomers) on dubz issues.

Thanks...
2 weeks or so ago I was visiting a Homie at Rasputins who’s an assistant manager and he hooked me up with Cudi’s Day and Night 7-inch… just looking at the cover, it gave me the idea for Kid Curry… I thought it was a fun idea, nothing to cash on.
I have no doubt Kid Cudi’s album will be dope. What I am worried about is if the label will shelve it… there hasn’t been a set release date yet and I hope its soon! I own a handful of singles and tracks featuring Cudi and man, I’m impressed so far.
This is gonna be a great month for Hip-Hop… Raekwons “Only built for Cuban Links Part 2” Drops next Tuesday and Jay-Z’s drops on the 11th i believe!
Beyond Golden State of Design... and than some!

Seams like this is the place to ask
I have been out of the bay area for years now and even though rap was not my favorite medium in music there was stuff out there that I really liked. So this is my question. Who is out there that’s creative both lyrically and musically? I do not like a lot of the commercial rap and if all they can sing about is how bit there D is or how big there bling is and how many hoe’s they have banged then I have no use for it. (Unless it’s funny and creative ala “Black Sheep” or “Digital Underground”). When I lived in the bay I had plenty of choices to find good stuff but here not so much and radio sure don’t help unless its “Black Eyed Peas” who I have always liked but they are kinda vanilla.
There's a party in my mind.
And I wish that I was there.
thanks for the Jax dreamleague t-shirt design!
Tony.psd, I wanna also thank you for doing our Dream League t-shirts too back what was it, over a year ago? — which were based on your kick-ass rendition of Stephen Jackson…
