Hey folks -

This is my first post on SB Nation since I resigned as an A's fan in 2005 when Lew tarped my seats.  Cool that I was able to grab my account back, if only to re-read that post

At the time, I figured I'd take my revenge by indulging in other sports, particularly those that don't revolve around the almighty buck.  I promised myself I'd check out this summer hoops league my friends were telling me about.

SF Pro-Am.  Here's a quick report: it rocks.

If any of you guys are into hoops and old school 'Frisco, drop by Kezar for the finals next week.

The semi-final game last night was a Pro-Am classic.  Matt Barnes actually turned up ("when in town" on the rosters page is a running joke).  And Matt Barnes Ent. totally choked.  He made it interesting towards the end (after he had cleared half the seats) but then totally choked again.  And ran off the court for tthe Escalade exit.

Classic!  In any case, East Bay deserved it.  South Bay has the Harvard backcourt.  Finals should be good.
