I’d like to see Kanye explain what is so ground-breaking about Beyonce’s video.

I’m not a fan of any of the three (Kanye, Beyonce, or Swift) but Beyonce’s video was just a dance routine that translates well to concerts, has a black and white filter, lots of spandex and a chorus that is barely musical. Oh yeah, and lots of booty.

What is Kanye smoking? The hype, no doubt.

What would his mother say?

Haha, I think he just couldn’t believe that video won? It was like the 5th or 6th best of the ones nominated.

I hear the reason it won is because she was the only one competing in her genre of music. So all the country music fans voted for her plus a few more.

Kanye needs to realize something...

Award shows are not about who is the best. They haven’t been in a loooong time. These things are almost purely political, orchestrated to achieve a larger agenda. Period.

Did Taylor Swift deserve to win that award? Probably not, but who cares? I’m guessing MTV wanted to please one fanbase by giving Swift the award and another by giving Beyonce the video of the year award.

Kanye is a douche. Ruin Swift’s first moment at the VMAs (I think it’s her first).

BTW, Taylor’s does deserve to win because her music is actually about her life and sort of reality, not trash like drugs, drinking, sex, no self esteem girls, etc. Not saying Beyonce is a person like that but her music isn’t very “intelligent.” Beyonce, usually sings dumb songs that are only good for clubs now. She used to be better with Destiny’s Child. Songs like Single Ladies (WTF? BTW, The video sucks) suck….

Not to mention Beyonce’s great pipes and Marilyn Monroe level sex appeal . This Swift girl is a lightweight in comparison, it’s like comparing Lebron to Rob Kurz :>)
