Prediction: 4th Place, Pacific Divison

Seems like all these guys think we’ll finish 4th. So does that mean the Clippers will have a better season than us? I would hope not…

On paper the Clips look pretty good: Baron, EJ, Thorton, Griffen, and Camby or Kaman. We’ll see if they are all able to stay healthy tho.

Recced. This is a really nice recap of our (bland) offseason and a good analysis of the upcoming season. Although I’d predict us going 82-0, 1st in Pacific Division and 1st in the Western Conference and then going 16-0 en route to our first NBA Championship in more than 30 years.

win the championship in 2K too lol. I can’t wait until 2K10 comes out to beast with the Warriors online and in Accosastion mode. But then again i’m excited about the Golden State Warriors opening training camp. I’m going tobe very happy late september early october LOL.

I wrote everything except the “5 guys” and the “Coach’s” part, but if I could predict a finish for this team, I’m going to say 3rd. Lakers – Clippers – Warriors – Suns – Kings. I think the Suns are going to be terrible this year, but what do I know?

I went back and forth on the Defensive Player part – I feel like I should have written more about Turiaf, but I think this is Andris’ time to really step it up and be considered a force league-wide. I’ve gotten some angry e-mails about “who we like” because I didn’t include Captain Jack or Corey Maggette .. but I’m not sure if I could bump any of the guys I did list for anyone else. Plus, I’m not sure if I can “like” a dude that demands a trade after getting his extension.

I like the “Who we like” section, myself. I’d put them over Maggs and Jax any day. Of course, shouldn’t it be, “Whom we like?” Never mind. No one likes whom anymore.

Lakers – Clippers – Warriors – Suns – Kings.

If we are better than the suns we’ll be better than the clips too. But even 2nd in division don’t mean much, what matters is how we finish in the western conference. Can we be in the top 8?
Lakers, Portland, Denver, Utah, Dallas, Spurs all seem like locks, Hornets, Rockets, Warriors, Clips, Suns seem to have a fighting chance for the 7th and 8th spots?

…except you may have forgotten to throw the Thunder into that competing for 7th & 8th category.

Kings, Memphis, and Minnesota are probably not going anywhere except the lottery.

I didn’t forget, I just thought no one would believe me( and I don’t like to validate the selling out of seattle and stealing of our mascot by recognizing them). I was thinking the PseudoSonics will be in the top of the middle teams, I don’t know much about their off season moves but any team with durant has to be respected.
