Thanks for this fanshot sam23.

I just don’t get it. How do the Warriors Decision-makers not see Ramon Sessions would have been the perfect fit for this team, dated the first day especially when they departed with BD.

I know there are some people that disagree with the Marco Belinelli PG project and that’s fine, but I don’t think too many people would disagree that Sessions SHOULD BE A WARRIOR.

Like seriously, I just don’t get it.

4 years 16 million is a freggin steal for Sessions.

I mean, I am going to support Steph Curry cuz he is a Warrior, but I was honestly really disappointed in the pick.

Not that I think he isn’t going to be a very good player, but I was more enamored with the combination of Johnny Flynn/ Monta Ellis or even a BJennings combo with Monta (even though I didn’t care too much for his caca pompous mentality.)

Eh. Whatever. I have no control over the Dubz. All I can do is sit back, watch and see what happens.

I am just so sick of this caca.

Go Warriors still or something.

I was describing BJ’s attitude that he has portrayed so far without proving anything yet in an actual NBA game.

I agree that there’s simply no reason for Sessions to not be a Warrior right now and that contract is extremely reasonable. I was even bigger on Sessions a year ago before he revealed himself to be a below average outside shooter, but he’s certainly young enough to expect him to improve that area of his game. I really like the Curry pick, I just wish we were looking at a Sessiors/Ellis/Morrow/Curry rotation at the 2 guard spots next year (assuming Jackson is traded) An offseason where we drafted Curry, signed Sessions and traded Jack, Wright and some expiring money to Utah for Kirilenko or to Miami for Beasley and a bad contract would’ve made me a very, very happy Warrior fan going into next season.
PG-Sessions (22) / Ellis (14) / Curry (12)
SG-Ellis (22) / Morrow (22) / Curry (4)
SF-Buike (24) / Maggette (24)
PF-Randolph (28) / Kirilenko (20)
C- Biedrins (32) / Turiaf (16)

Weird, it seems yet another offseason has come and almost gone where the Warriors haven’t done exactly what I’ve wanted them to. (sigh)

No reason?

You do realize that a player has to want to sign with said team. Mike Dunleavy Sr is in love with Sessions, but (w/ BD & EG) Sessions didn’t see the opportunity in LA to get 30+ minutes as he would in Minnesota (now that Rubio probably isn’t coming for 3 years (so that he would no longer be under the rookie scale)) or over in New York. conveniently, Sessions has an option on year 4 which he’ll likely exercise (enter Rubio).

Just like CJ saw a better opportunity for minutes in Orlando, I think it’s fair to say that most FA or RFA guards would look at the Warriors roster with Monta (11 million dollar man), Curry (#7 overall), Jackson, Morrow, Claxton, Law, Azubuike and perhaps even CJ and feel like there just aren’t a lot of guaranteed minutes at the guard spots in GS. I doubt players & agents are so clued in to the Warriors situation that they realize Azubuike & Jackson don’t see much (if any) minutes at the guard spot.

just as many Warrior fans have been wanting him back then when we departed with Baron Davis when the opportunity for Sessions was wide open. WIDE WIDE OPEN.

In my opinion and alot of other people’s opinion, Sessions should have been a Warrior back then, and still should be a Warrior today.

The end.

going after sessions last year would have been really useful. might have saved us from the jamal crawford experiment and would have helped keep the team afloat during the monta-less games.

that said, if we had sessions, we’d have been good enough where steph curry would likely have been off the board when we drafted and i prefer the warriors with curry than with sessions. i’m really looking forward to seeing him in action. he’s not a pure point, but he showed aptitude for the position last year with absolutely no supporting cast and i think he’ll continue to improve as a distributor as he learns the nba game.

i like sessions, but not enough to get really broken up about missing out on him.

very good points. rec'd

As the saying goes, “Everything happens for a reason,” where Warrior Fans always hopes for the best outcome but we usually end up with a crappy result because of a terrible front office.

If we got sessions last year and if we had a decent season last year, who knows where would have fallen in the draft. What if we fell to a player like Dejuan Blair who I think could have been a great piece to this young team.

There’s always a “What If’s” topic to bring up with the Dubs, but it always brings up great discussions.

I now need to step into reality because we now have Curry, which the actual draft pick I haven’t been the best supporter of. Not him as a player because I think including this cat in the mix will make the offense 37 times more exciting than it will be.

I love how is a very good shooter and will probably be up there in 3 pt percentage shooting with A-Mo and KAZ. His IQ seems to be very high and seems like he will be a very good distributor which the team desperately needs.

My biggest fear when we first drafted Steph Curry was the Warriors Org was going to be in love with the Curry / Monta combo. Even though it hasn’t been proven yet, I just would really dislike them playing together at the same time on the floor while we have such a deep bench to orchestrate different combinations.

I’ll support curry now and see what happens. Go Warriors still.

Is there any reason to think sessions ever wanted to be a warrior?

how much is the max MLE offer? There should’ve been about that many reasons for him to want to be a Warrior this offseason and I was kinda hoping we’d make a deal for him last year which wouldve given us the ability to match any offer he got, no?
