Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Amazing game. Great team, but that squad really needed someone who can help Biedrins down low. I'm pretty sure we had a lot of good trading chips at that time to get someone decent that could have made a big difference, kinda like how Barnes was gotten for cheap but helped make a successful year for GS.

haha

I actually had the full Game 1 of the series on my computer.

I swear, what an amazing way to start the series. We were so wild yet so sneaky at the same time; at he end of the game everyone was like, “Wait…… what the hell just happened?!”. It’s like no one knew what to think. Some random 8th seed just beat a historic Mavs team on their own court. Baron had like 36 points, 18 rebounds, 8 assists or something crazy like that. The J-Rich block on Devin Harris leading to the Matt Barnes three on the other side, lol that was hilarious.

Oh yeah

And the way we came back from the 21 point deficit was amazing, especially since it was in the Playoffs. It’s one of those games you’d want to watch in the postseason. It sucks how the refs gave it to the Mavs, though. Towards the end of the game, J-Rich got knocked down on a three point attempt and fell into the crowd, yet NO CALL was made against the Mavs; really, the refs think J-Rich would just randomly airball a three pointer? Also Baron got his 6th foul just for going behind Josh Howard, way to take him out of the game, ref. Every game the Warriors played at Dallas was suspicious, we were supposed to sweep the Mavs that series and if it wasn’t for Rafer Alston trying to do And1 with a minute left in Game 7, the Warriors would have swept the Houston Rockets in the second round.

We would have made it to the WCF and lost against the Spurs, but i’d rather lose to a championship dynasty than a Jazz team. Oh well, move on. Back to suckiness, good thing we got Randolph to keep our faith alive! woot!

Imagine if

The Rockets won and if Robert Horry didn’t throw Nash into the scorers table. Suns with Amare would have won that series, and you would have possibly had the highest scoring, most exciting Western conference finals ever between the Warriors and Suns. We would have beat the Cavs in the finals and won it all. Then Mullin wouldn’t have traded J-rich and Baron wouldn’t have left and life would be good. It’s fun to dream
