Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap

Anthony Morrow
On Tonight's Game:
"It felt good, teammates found me and I was just being aggressive trying to get us back in the game …trying to do what I could and caught a good rhythm. I felt good, all my shots felt the same. It’s just tough losing that game. I thought we had it when we got back to within 10. That team has a couple of All-Stars."

On Being More Aggressive:
"It’s something we just have to continue to do coming off the bench, just being aggressive so we can continue to get scoring off the bench. Even if I’m not making shots I still have to be rebounding, defending getting some steals…just being active. You never know what can happen, especially on this team. We just got to continue to playing fast and keep grinding."

My Notebook

- Cartier Martin was brought up because Nellie needed a backup 3 to cut down Maggette's minutes.
- CJ got 5 stitches on his right hand at halftime.

What's next?

- Practice canceled for tomorrow, so the Warriors can try to recover from their injuries.
- The weekly Don Nelson show on KNBR should air tomorrow.
- Warriors Weekly Radio show will air tomorrow at 9pm. Links will be posted at their page. I'll link to any interesting mp3s I find.
- The Warriors host the Bucks Friday at 7:30pm.

Unfortunately...

I am gonna have to say Maggette is next on the list. It’s Maggette for crying out loud, he’s probably due for one now.

God knows I pray I’m wrong though….

So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.

Maybe all his bad carma has been used up, leaving him for Wright, Randolph and Turiaf.

Monta seems so frustrated

And rightfully said he has the right to be frustrated, he’s doing all he possibly can this year and getting no respect or results.

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

I watched the orangino highlights....

and when it’s only 2 minutes long, you know we didn’t play well….

So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.

This

I agree with this.

Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

Cause you can’t yell at Nellie for benching AR?

So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.

I would be happy if we had either Wright or Randolph, as they are my favorite to watch. I used to like watching Belli, too… I used to like Pietrus, as well. Man, it sucks right now. Maybe I’ll watch now for Martin. He was good in summer league.

CJ got stitches?

What happened to his hand? Shaqzilla step on another one of our guard’s hand?

According to csnbayarea.com

CJ Watson got some sort of a cut on his shooting had when Wade saved the ball and it bounced awkwardly off of CJ’s hand. You can see the play on the Matt Steinmetz post game video.

Awwww man...

This sucks! Warriors have been playing so slow lately. It seems like we haven’t been getting as many steals and that used to fuel our fast paced play style.

Our owner got "injured" and it sucks

You guys probably wouldn’t mind it though.

Another Injury

Did anyone else notice that we only had 3 of the 4 Flying W’s at the game last night? Maybe the “next” injury has already hit us.

people who didn't read my question

unless the warrior girls are doing dangerous bizarre acts during the commercial breaks that we don’t see on TV

I take this comment back

it was a fun and silly question that wasn’t supposed to have any true logic, so ignore what i said before

by IQofaWarrior on Jan 14, 2010 12:32 PM PST up reply actions

I voted other cause there is a strong likelihood that someone else on planet Earth gets injured before anyone you mentioned.

Oh, it’s good to see Morrow back. For a while, his +/- was great. Not as good lately. I was missin’ that.

Adonal Foyle

Is going to come back out of retirement and dress for the Warriors and then get injured.
