I was just looking myself where I could get one. Apparently his line is coming out Feb. 15. So check out Li-Ning then.

A strategic move by Baron to be voted
into the 2011 all star game as a starter by garnering Millions of voted from China even though he will probably be injured. I predict one year that all starters in the All Star game will be voted into the all star game without so much as playing in game through its assocaition with China thus rendering the voting process as a complete and utter sham.

Here we go again...
and if that weren’t bad enough, we can blame China as well for the budget shortfall in California and for the Raiders and Warriors for being such a terrible franchise in recent years.
Honestly, if people have a problem with the voting process, they should blame comissioner Stern and the rest of the NBA higher-ups (in ca-hoots with global business) for expanding their enterprise into all parts of the globe. The NBA spends tons of money a year sending players as “ambassadors.” You think the NBA and its players do it philanthropically? Obviously there are economic motives behind what the NBA is doing and getting more fans across the global — whether that be watching it on TV or voting for who gets to participate in the all-star game — is part of that process of massive global economic accumulation for the NBA.
So really, isn’t it the process by which the NBA has set up already the problem? And it’s not as if “Americans” vote any more judiciously…like when AC Green and Horace Grant were starters? I mean, really? My alternative would be that players nominated should have played a minimum # of games played during the season.

+1
It’s called a FAN VOTE. If you’re a hoops/ NBA fan it doesn’t matter where you live. Everyone’s vote counts the same.
It’s not like the “American vote” hasn’t lead to plenty of shams (i.e. Kobe Bryant starting back in the day, T-Mac starting, etc). The coach’s vote hasn’t been perfect or apolitical either- witness Baron Davis’ snub in 08.
