Got another trivia question, it's a pretty simple one.
How do you go from beating the best team in the NBA to sitting at the bottom of the standings, with a standing line-up of Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry, Corey Maggette, Anthony Tolliver, and Andris Biedrins?
You draft poorly, trade poorly, and live by the saying, "WE SUCK."

Anyway, my good ol' buddy Captain Jack came back with some wiggety wack smack and beat the crap out off us last night.
Hooray.
Can you tell I'm in a great mood? Cause I am, I swear I am. I get to watch the Grammy's. And yes, I know what you're thinking, "It's just another silly awards show."
WRONG.
Music awards shows = Kanye West breakdown. Let me be real, I enjoy KWest more than anyone else. "College Dropout" was one the best albums of my undergraduate years. "Spaceship" was off the hook and got me through those rough study nights.
But it's times like these (videos below)
That truly make me appreciate Kanye West.
But back to the basketball game...
We'll get destroyed, KD is the man, the Blazers must feel for taking Oden over him. Brandon Roy + Kevin Durant? Man, that would be...UNSTOPPABLE BABY?

I think we’re playing them on Saturday again but at Oracle Arena.
You draft poorly, trade poorly, and live by the saying, “WE SUCK.”
I wouldn’t say we draft poorly. I mean, we do have busts like Diogu, Patrick O’Bryant, etc..but we also got steals like Monta in the 2nd round for example. Curry and Randolph are pretty good picks too.
I'm with you on Monta and Curry...
But Randolph has yet to prove his worth. Sure, it might be all the hype, but if we go into the season expecting a 20-10 game from him, and we get a 2-5-4 (fouls) in 10 minutes…something’s not right.

I agree with that sentiment
I don’t think we have drafted or traded poorly. We haven’t ever had the option to draft a player like Durant, Green, Westbrook, or Harden. Those players were all drafted with very high picks that we haven’t had in any draft recently. There have been draft mistakes, but hindsight is 20/20. I remember people thinking that Diogu was a good pick, no one knew that the highschool taken the pick after him (Bynum) would turn out to be such a good player.

This is a game that’s even more poorly suited to smallball than most… the OKC’s perimeter guys all rebound well, and a Westbrook/Harden/Sefalosha/Durant/big lineup is much stronger than anything we could counter with. We need the bigs to play well and often to have a chance here.

Five words to describe today:
We ain’t winning this game.
Anyway, I wonder why the Warriors signed a guard. Whatever happened to giving Maggette a backup so he can get some rest? Perhaps the Warriors feel Monta and Curry need some rest? If so, it’s ironic that we had a “logjam” of guards last season, and mainly due to injuries, we’re now scraping the D League for a temporary guard.
Prepare for disaster, prepare for a blowout, prepare for a D League showcase. Because that’s what Warriors basketball is all about right now.
Oh and thanks Cartier for playing for us for the past 20 days. Hope your tear duct heals up. We could use a bench guy who’s not afraid to give up his eyeballs to attempt to block a monster dunk.

I predict
a Curry with a behind the back pass tonight and a blowout loss. I don’t think we are going to win tonight but i’m still going to watch and support my team. Also Morrow will not play our next 3 games.

that was a lot better effort than i expected
i know we made some mistakes, but a lot of those were mistakes of exxecution, with the right idea. I can’t complain about those.

Warriors shooting cooled down to 52.6%, but Thunder shooting cooled way down to 45%

I was at the game, and my cell phone is old, so I can’t constantly drop comments, heh. Thanks for mentioning me though!
It was rough getting there, my car was covered in ice and took half an hour to de-frost, along with my neighhborhood being impossible to get out of. All in all, I got there at halftime, surprised to see the Warriors ahead.
Then, they couldn’t get any offense going at all, and their entire strategy seemed to be to just drive to the basket and hope to get fouled. But, eventually, in the fourth, the Warriors started knocking shots down and clearing space. When Monta missed the tying three, it was the most disappointing thing in the world. Just once, I’d like to see the Warriors beat the Thunder. It’s kind of annoying watching the Warriors losing so many close games, but hey, that’s what I signed up for, and I suppose the Thunder needed the win more than the Warriors do.
In any case, it was an enjoyable game, and I’m lucky that I’m able to see my team twice a year. Thanks again for the love R-Dizzle, and I have the utmost confidence that the Thunder will be defeated next Saturday. I’ll try to drop by more often!
