Steinmetz: Turiaf to start on Tuesday for Warriors
Warriors center Ronny Turiaf has been back for four games now, but he’s still having a little trouble getting his left knee to loosen up. Turiaf, who has missed 24 games this season with a sprain, said on Monday’s he’s still got a little bit of lingering pain.
The solution: Put him in the starting lineup.

I think highly of Turiaf, but he's best off the bench
he’s better coming off the bench and seeing the flow of a game so he can key his defense how/where it’s needed most.
same really goes for maggette, although he’s been rock solid in the starting line up for the W’s the past 2/3 weeks
Sweet, a big lineup!
Curry
Ellis
Maggs
AR
Turiaf

My first thought was that Biedrins is in the doghouse
But after reading the article, I see there’s a different reason for starting Turiaf.
If Ronny’s knee is bothering him, we should sit him. For God’s sake, how stupid can this team be?
Ladies and gentlemen, your Golden State Worriers.
God, I hate this organization
Huh? Turiaf is now starting? For one game or two? Any real reason? He can’t get loose on the bike? Yet the Nellie backers will claim it’s sound strategy.
Check out what I wrote about Nellie in the Anthony Randolph thread started by Free Zarko:
Nellie…juggles his starting lineup (based on match-ups, health, and recent performance, I presume). He doesn’t have a set "first guy off the bench" because he has so many starting lineups. He says he likes to use Maggette as the "super-sub," but then starts him for stretches of games, and then sends him back to the bench. Players come in during the second quarter (Randolph and Wright, most notably), and then never see the court again. This is all happening while certain players (Baron, Jax, and now Monta) play excessive minutes. And his crunch-time lineups often make little logical or formulaic sense, and often bear little resemblance to the most effective lineup.
It’s just another example of bad coaching. This type of insanity is what makes players want to leave, and then we all wonder why the Warriors suck. There is just no consistency in any decision making within the organization. At what point does someone look at the body of work and say, “This is just not good enough.”?
If it wasnt for Turiaf's injury i wouldnt be that mad at this decision.
Beidrins has looked horrible in his games back from injury, and perhaps would do better against 2nd stringers until he gets back to speed. However, if Turiaf is indeed hurt, this is unexplainable.
Why not start
Andris and Turiaf together and bring in Randolph early for Turiaf.
