Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap
Anthony Morrow
On The Comeback:
"We just battled. I was saying the whole game, ‘Let’s just keep fighting, let’s keep playing, keep grinding,’ and everybody did that. Monta (Ellis) had a great game as usual, Corey (Maggette) did as well and everybody else kind of had to get in where they fit in, and everybody did their job."
On His Big Three-Pointer:
"Well first of all I had to get the guys off my back after that Boston game, that shot I didn’t take. That was a good way to get them off the back. It was just a shot I knew I could make. I knew when Monta went right my man was probably going to leave and help because he’s been scoring all night so he kicked it out and I just lined it up and knocked it down."
On Monta Ellis:
"It’s unbelievable. They say he’s 6’3 but he’s not 6’3. He’s a little guy but he can play hard. He’s got a lot of heart and that says a lot about his character."

My Notebook
- Xrays on Randolph's ankle showed a possible fracture. He will do a CT scan Saturday.
- The Warriors were granted another injury exception. They will try to sign Cartier Martin to a 10-day contract this weekend.
- The Warriors are allowed to sign Cartier Martin at most to 2 10-day contracts. If the Warriors want to keep him for the season, they must clear a spot on the roster (I assume either by buying someone out, or by a 2-for-1 trade).
- This ties the biggest comeback win of the season with the Celtics one, both from down 18.
- Maggette's hamstring issues kept him from being aggressive to the basket, forcing him to take more jumpshots earlier in the season.
What's next?
- No practice Saturday, I guess a practice on Sunday, Monday night vs Cavaliers.

Anyone think that
one of the warriors post game show person who replaces Damon Andrews is terrible?
He called Jim and Bob.. Bob and fitz.
He confused Anthony Randolph with Anthony Morrow
and that was in the first two minutes.
Jeff Fisher
it is comical how bad he is

I want to
Email CSN and have them hold open tryouts for the gig, I’m sure anyone here on GSOM that follows the Warriors as much as we do could do a better job doing that.
Nellie always says that.
it’s a post-game interview ritual everytime we win.

Links update
gameflow added. I’m an idiot, or I’m just tired. I’ve been waiting for popcornmachine to show Jan 9 games, and I completely forgot that Jan 9 is Saturday, and the game was on Jan 8. Doh.
Give Monta respect
The guy is a star. The first half showed that if Monta isn’t hitting, the team would get blown out every game. If I was in his inner circle, I’d tell him to leave this team asap because he would never be taken seriously as an all star with this clownish organization.
Damn
I took a nap late 3rd quarter I wake up learning we won!
So I don't have a signature well these words would do! Who knew that upgrades can have downgrades too!

Thanks for the highlights
i was watching the flimsy one on nba.com and the stupid guy made a comment about “people scratching their head” on a Thompson offensive foul, but they didnt make ANY comment on the denver game. those people are full of it. period.

Randolph was starting to play pretty consistent basketball
and now this happens. So depressing.

Thx!
I just want to express my appreciation from overseas for this heavy linkage after the games. Please keep it coming.
"It really is a choice of whatever rotten fruit you fancy least." (Kelly Dwyer about NBA Franchise owner)
Appreciation is always appreciated
makes doing this more enjoyable
You know,
I just downloaded and watched the orangino highlights, and on Morrow’s “game sealing shot”, when he dances over towards the bench, I can see Radman in the background not really showing much emotion or enthusiasm on that shot. Everyone else, even Devean George, was hopping around, fired up. Maybe Radman is lonely and isolated on this team? Or maybe he’s just low key? Or maybe he just doesn’t care? I’m not sure how to read him on that.
