Honestly

I don’t have high expectations any for Radmonovic.

I have a bad feeling this guy will get some decent PT this year.

"It's like Will Smith, remember the Fresh Prince? Get the ball don't let nobody else shoot? That's kinda what the offense can be sometimes, and they're just standing around waiting for Monta to make a play"

...

Oh look, some video clips of VladRad making shots…

There will be no extra point!

I hope he plays well for us

especially if BWright isn’t playing as well as he should.
But let’s not go from “Vlad-who? Is he still on the team” to jumping on his bandwagon just yet!

As for those who say things like, I hope he gets no PT, if he produces well and is efficient do you still feel the same way? Can a player not improve and regain his younger form? If he brings us what we lost with Morrow will you not cheer for him?

Ugh

I grew up watching Radmonovic look awesome one night and then suck for the 3 games while he was with the Supersonics. At this stage in his career he’s a matchup gimmick as either an 6’10" gunner wide with ok handles for a big man. Personally, I hated him for while he was on the Sonics because he had so much potential, but he never seemed to develop. He’s essentially the same that he was when he entered the league. It’s a shame.

A Sonics fan without a team... but after 7 seasons now of GS Warriors season tickets have convinced me to adopt the boys from Oakland.

Ahh

Sucks that you had to lose your team. =[

The Warriors will give you a hell of a ride, though. Good thing you didn’t hop on the Lakers bandwagon, they’re too spoiled. Golden State is a good underdog team to root for, we have a lot of potential so let’s see what they can do with it!

Familiarity breeds contempt

Not huge Vlad fan but as a Warrior fan, I want them all to play well.
If we had Carney last year we’d be referring to him in much the same way we do Vladman. I see that he worked harder than any other Warrior (perhaps) in the off season and is coming in and playing great so far – what is not to like here people?
I know he was a disappointment for us in the past, but considering how many question marks we have on our bench as it is – I really hope he is reliable this year. Not like we can count on Carney, Bell, B.Wright or the rookies to be reliable – right? Other than Amudson and Reggie Williams, the rest of our bench seems like they could either not help us at all or maybe help us a bit – truth is likely in between.
Root for Vlad people – we need all the help we can get!

u know what

i think he was one of the reasons why that sonics team was feared back then. They went to the west conf finals not by accident. lets just hope he can get back to that form. he was mostly effective when shooting of a screen or cuts and not as a stand still jumpshooter.

really...

The guys killed them on the defensive end a nightly basis. Fortson’s rebounding, Lewis and Allen shooting out of their minds and consistent play from Ridnour is what got them to the Western Semis in 2005 when they took the Spurs to 6 games. He was third 3rd leading scorer in 04-05 at just under 12.0 ppg. Check his stats: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/radmavl01.html he wasn’t much a contributor. And for fun here’s how the spurs ended the last ever sonics playoff series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlpWXgGBdEc
