Yes! Booyaaaaaahhhh!

Now let’s trade for Carmelo Anthony!!!!

We have Dorell Wright, who is a better defender. Carmelo has a max contract, too. Forget that.

Geeze, it took long enough.

First it was going to be by training camp, and then opening night, and then the first week of November. The NBA sure dragged this heals on this. Maybe they were trying to get back at the Warriors for making personnel moves before the sale became official.

The vote was done via e-mail so I don’t understand the hold-up. Maybe Memphis stil has dial-up and couldn’t get their vote through. Better late than never…see ya Cohan. Go visit your buddy Nellie in Maui. Congrats to the owners and to all the long suffering W’s fans that have been dreaming of this day for the last decade.

You hear that?

That’s the sound of the door hitting Cohan’s dumbass on his way out!

Half Price Monday

If you “like” the Warriors on Facebook, they’ll give you a code for 1/2 price tickets (and concessions!) Monday night – just saying :)

That’s cool. Of course, I just went to a Warriors game and was spoiled with 3rd row seats. I’m afraid, even at half price, regular seats would be somewhat of a let down. Still. it’s kinda tempting.

YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GTFO Lacob ……

If this sale somehow failed, I’m pretty confident he would’ve broken up this team. Trading starters for picks & cash wouldn’t surprise me.

Even if none of Riley's off-season moved worked out ...

I’d still have hope for the Warrior’s future w/ Lacob gone. What a disaster he was.

Cohan?

We'll miss you Frown-Face Randolph. "You came, you cried, you almost conquerred."

You're right. thanks for pointing out the mistaken names.

Was just so happy, mixed up the names & didn’t realize it.

Does this mean Rowell’s days are numbered?

Hard to say

but it’s almost certain he won’t have nearly as much latitude or power if he’s still around. I would be very surprised if he’s still here this time next year – Guber’s organization has a lot of experience in managing minor-league franchises, and Lacob has the Celtic connection. Rowell is a basketball cretin, but is also that kind of narrow-focus bean counter who actually has a place in a business instead of running one. Without the power vacuum at the top (ie, Cohan sucking… man i love that pun. sorry.) Rowell couldn’t have the kind of influence he did.
