Addressing the back-up PG

In yesterday's game against the Knicks, Stephen Curry was off, there was no denying. Monta lit up the score-board, but tired at the end because our only good offensive possessions were coming when he was matched up one-on-one.

Curry has been putting up solid numbers, but I have been noticing a lot more hiccups in his game, and we could probably attribute that to him being a sophomore in the NBA. He will definitely have some more big games this year(hopefully one in the coming game against LA), but I think this will be an issue moving forward.

J. Lin has shown flashes, but he's still a rookie and Smart doesn't appear ready to give him more steady minutes. Charlie Bell is ok, but really doesn't seem to be more than a 8th or 9th guy off the bench.

One option I'd love if the Warriors considered would be to go after Kirk Hinrich on the Wizards. They've already got Arenas and Wall, and Hinrich doesn't really improve their team enough to warrant his $9 million a year.

One move that the Warriors could consider:

Warriors get:

Kirk Hinrich

Wizards get:

V. Radmanovich + B. Wright

This is one potential trade. They could perhaps substitute Rodney Carney for B. Wright once Carney becomes eligible for a trade midway through December, which I would prefer.

Once Amudson and Udoh are healthy, I think we'll be find with the front-line, given what the limited time I've seen with Lee, Biedrins, Gadzurich and Adrien. Believe it or not, the Warriors might actually be looking for more guard and SF help and less frontcourt help this year; we definitely haven't seen this in years.

Hinrich I think would be an excellent fit. He can back-up the 1 when Curry is out, and a back-court of Ellis and Hinrich would be deadly, in my eyes. He's big enough to inter-change at the SG with Ellis, working a flex PG/SG situation which could be nice. And at 6-4, he's big enough to sub in for Ellis whenever needed - I wouldn't mind Curry/Hinrich in the back-court getting a little rest for Monta.

The Wiz free up the back-court, get an expiring contract in V. Rad, and get B.Wright/Carney as a serviceable rotation option.

Anyway they can, I think the Warriors should pursue Kirk Hinrich.
