Keith Smart
On tonight's game:
"Physically we know how to play the game. But the game now is all mental for us. We have to make smart plays. We had a lot of really bad plays at the end of the quarter and throughout the course of the game. We had the numbers to score but we just made the wrong decisions at the time. With a young group we still have to grow them into becoming pros and hopefully, at some point, that will all sink in and we will not make the same mistakes."

On the last shot attempt by Golden State:
"We had our two best guys right there off a good defensive play to make a play to go into overtime and see what happened from there. He (Dorell Wright) had a good look."

On the chance to win it:
"Without a question, I thought we were right there. We came back in this game three times. We had to claw our way back in the game to make it a game three times. With the effort they are giving, they are playing extremely hard all the way through the game so you can’t fault their effort."

On the difference from tonight’s game and the match-up on Nov. 3:
"Zach Randolph played, so he caused problems because you have to double-team him and if you double team him he has to move out of the double team. They made some shots tonight out of the double-team rotation so they get the rebounds and they get some second-chance opportunities. So I think that is one of the biggest things there. Plus (O.J.) Mayo played great. When you have guys that you can’t guard one-on-one you have to change your game plan. You are going to foul your big guys out, you have to come double, and you just hope that these guys don’t make the shots that they have to to beat you with."

On the playing without David Lee:
"You take advantage. You take Zach Randolph off this team for a long period of time and that is kind of how Lee is for us."

How can it not be Biedrins?

Ok…..I am going to assume whoever voted Lin is just trying to make him feel better about getting all 4 of his shots blocked?

Yeah, this should really be

100% Biedrins, 0% everyone else

So true. No contest tonight.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is Monta Ellis when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

The Jeremy Lin fan-boys need a reality check. I like him too, but he isn’t bigger than the rest of the team.

Lee should sit vs the T-Wolves. We don’t want him to rush back from injury. Biedrins can handle Love…..I hope.

If he can play he should play

Games like this against Minny we need and the team needs him

You don’t want to rush him back too early. We obviously need him, but I think letting him sit this game would be better in the long run.

especially with rebound inhaler Kevin Love, we’re gonna need all the boards we can get

by lameallenmark on Nov 26, 2010 11:17 PM PST up reply actions

he needs to play

rest is not going to help/hurt his arm. it is fine. he was out so long only because he had an IV line in his arm.

If you really think Marc Gasol is an upgrade over Biedrins, i want you to watch this game again.

If Gasol has a freethrow shot that don’t make me puke then he’s in.

Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

don’t do that. It’s just one game.

Way to go Andris Biedrins. You the man, and we hope to see you being the man more this year. Things will open up more for Curry and Ellis, when you play like this. We will be so much better.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is Monta Ellis when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
