Hello everyone. Let me start off by saying that this is my first post. I live in Orange County, and I am always hearing the hype from Los Angeles around here. But naturally you know how you cheer for one team, that team is the warriors for me. Golden State is off to a fast start. They face a real test here in the next week. As they stand at 4 and 1 all of their wins have been at home. The pistons are struggling this season, I don't think that signing Tracy McGrady was all to great of a move for the teams overall chemistry. And they have a good chance of winning Sunday night. The team is playing very well under new head coach Keith Smart. He has the defense to hold a team to 78 points and has the offense to score 113 average per game so far in 2010. Pat Riley deserved some credit, the sign and trade of David Lee. Anthony Randolph looks like a promising young player now at 7 feet tall. But the offensive rebounds have been better than Smart ever could have imagined. The warriors have won their last two games with a Stephen Curry hobbling around one one leg, and shooting no better than 40% in the last two games. Free throws and offensive rebounds have been the key to success. I don't think that this will be a season trend, but if the Warriors are serious about contention this year they need 100% from every player and might need one more scorer like possibly Aaron Miles of Portland, Tayshawn Prince, Richard Lewis, or Rudy Gay. I any of these teams need a change or are out of contention (accept for Prince and the Pistons because they are not aiming to contend this year). A bright year ahead in Golden State!
