Backup PG & Expiring Contracts
It is very clear, especially with how fragile Steph's ankle appears to be, that we need another good PG. We have some expiring contracts that we can use as bait. There is a PG in this league that needs a new team, and whose team wants him gone. Baron Davis. I know I know, "3 years left for 13 mil, he's been the worst player in the league over the last 2 years, etc..". I just feel that brining him back here to play with Monta and Smart, as well as hearing the cheers of Oracle may provide the platform for Boom Dizzle to return. He would also be a good mentor for Steph to better learn the tricks of the PG trade. Gadz and Vlad work in the trade machine, LAC know that's about all they can get for him. With Udoh and Lou back healthy we could trade those two and bring Adrien back. Lou, Udoh, Reggie, and Boom would be our bench mob. That's a legit bench if BD can be half the PG he was back when we we're good, though I still believe if Reggie is one of your top 7 players, you're a bad team. Not like we're gonna be able to do much with that cap space anyway. I say do it.

it's actually two more years (after this one) at around $28 million total

that Sterling has to be the worst owner in sports – talk about classless and ugly. man.
Baron, for all his faults at times as a player, has never had a bad word to say about others, works extremely hard to end violence in urban areas, is funny and full of life.
The Clippers suck because they are the clippers, Vinny is not a good coach and the West is tough – just ask the Warriors. Baron not playing well is tough but that is ridiculous

I think our new owners are only looking to add good contracts to our roster
I’d imagine they’d be willing to overspend for a young stud who could give us several productive years, but not an old man on his way out.
