Golden State Warriors on Chronicle Live: Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright, David Lee, Keith Smart

Yesterday (Wednesday), the Warriors' players and Warrior Girls teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to host a holiday party at the practice facility for 20 kids suffering from life-threatening illnesses and diseases. Chronicle Live broadcasted their show live from the party and talked to several of the players and Keith Smart.

First, take a moment to look through the heart warming photo gallery...

No

Why in the world do we want a worse more stubborn Nellie?

It’s probably better for the players to be disillusioned about their potential if it’ll keep them playing hard, as long as they know what they suck at. Fans though, bad to get hopes up haha

David Lee's right though.

We have had absolutely no luck and we are definitely better than our 10-18 so far. I think this Saturday’s game will be the first time we’ve had our starting five plus guys like Lou and Udoh off the bench. In other words, we are just now getting healthy. If we stay healthy, can we play above .500 basketball? I think so, especially with lots of winnable games on the horizon.

This is typical Warriors bad luck and frustration. If you don’t believe in a team being “unlucky” like I do (although each year of Warriors basketball starts to make me believe otherwise), then you should think this team stays relatively healthy and plays good basketball like I know they can.

It's painfully obvious Keith is in over his head.

He’s a nice guy but seriously? The reason our pace is slower is because we don’t have Morrow and Watson? What….

by GovernorStephCurry on Dec 24, 2010 1:36 AM PST reply actions

lol seriously

athletically, we are far better off right now with Carney/Wright/Lee…and as far as pushing the pace off the bench, law drives pretty well(doesn’t finish as great yet).

Smart is a joke. People were attacking me when we were 6-2 and I was saying how bad smarts rotations were….people are starting to see now that we are losing. Even if we win, it’s no thanks to him and his awful rotations.

Well, if we start winning and he starts doing a good job then maybe we keep him.

But he’s shown no creativity or willingness to change what he’s doing so can him either soon or definitely at the end of the season.

I just gotta say.

The attitude of this team is awesome. Monta is really amazing this year.

Seriously?

His play has been stellar this year. How can you possibly argue that?

by true torture on Dec 25, 2010 1:14 AM PST up reply actions

Because it hasn't been stellar.

I don’t consider stellar to be a synonym of average.
