Remember Cartier Martin?

Well, I met Cartier Martin today... as well as the rest of the Wizards!

I am a student at UCLA and east coast teams tend to practice at our Student Activities Center before games at Staples Center. My friend told me he saw the Wizards practicing, so we all camped out outside the building awaiting their exit. Wizards assistant coaches were looking at us and sarcastically saying "Oh, look at that, just some students walking back from class happening to have a pen and a basketball!"

John Wall came out alone, in shades and headphones. We went up to him and got a picture with him. It's right in the sunlight, so I look more Asian than my Asian friends! But all jokes aside, John Wall looked pissed and he didn't seem happy at all. He said "Only one group picture" really sternly. But then, he's a star athlete and I'll just be thankful he took the picture.

So then the rest of them came out. My friend is a Clippers fan so he spotted Al Thornton and took a picture with him. Hilton Armstrong was walking with him and he was pissed that we didn't care about him. He said "None of yall want a pic with me? That's fine, I hope y'all fail!"

Then, I recognized Cartier Martin. I said "Ay Cartier! I remember you from the Warriors!" He got a huge smile on his face and shook my hand and said "Awww yeah man, holdin' it down!" It was really cool to see Cartier. I should have told him we could use some of his depth right now lol. He seemed really happy that someone recognized him and was a totally cool guy.

Then, my friends got a picture with Yi Jianlan. He was really nice and even took two pictures since the first one didn't come out.

Unfortunately, we did not find Andray Blatche or Gilbert Arenas. Those were two guys I really wanted to see. One a former Warrior and the other is one of my favorite players for some reason. He also went to high school at South Kent Prep with 1R2L. I could've asked him about that lol.

Josh Howard was dressed like a complete thug, didn't even recognize him until I saw his number. Kirk Hinrich left before anyone else. Poor guy, he seemed really lonely.

Anyway, this is my first fanpost and something cool about a former (even if it was for a really short time) Warrior.
