No Monta, no Maggette
It’s basically Curry and CJ running the show tonight. Baron’s going to physically mow down our 2 point guards. I’d like to see Curry and CJ thieving Baron a couple of times. I want to see Morrow continue his “floor game” from the Mavs game.
Otherwise, Curry and CJ might play all 48 minutes, with Morrow/George splitting time at the 3. Tolliver, Biedrins, Turiaf, and Hunter will cover the front. That’s our 8 man roster. 7 if Nellie doesn’t trust Hunter’s game and doesn’t play him.
I hate versing Baron, J-Rich, Jackson… Miss them :(

On the KNBR radio pregame
they interview the Warriors coaches to see what they think about their next opponent. Today, they said they think that the new Clippers coach is going to give Baron more freedom, let the offense run through him a little more. Dunleavy was more structured, more of a plays kind of guy. I wonder how that’s going to work out.

It’s hard to say Warriors aren’t better offensively with @StephenCurry30 handling the ball and Monta Ellis playing true SG.
In my opinion
I think that’s the plan for the future. Curry did say his goal for the 2nd half of the season is to learn in game decision making, especially at crunch time.

his stats are nice, but inflated, a half-court, playoff team might want him

Lets keep this in perspective guys, it was one game.
A great game by Curry, but he has also had horrible games. Its good to be excited but don’t jump to conclusions about how Monta sucks!

Remember that preseason game where Baron dominated Monta and their bigs just dominated us? This was like the ultimate antidote to that.
Triple double aside: I loved, loved, loved Steph’s body language from the outset. It’s like he set out to absolutely own Baron and did just that. Did the same recently with Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans, IIRC. Are there still people who don’t think this kid is special?

Monta has been out 3 games I believe this entire season
In each game, Curry has taken over the offense and made the team look like a cohesive unit. Make of that what you will. Yes, the sample size is small. But the sample size with Monta running the offense has grown rather large, and the results are ugly. It’s not just that we aren’t winning, it’s that the majority of the team (aside from Monta and Maggette if things are going well) looks disjointed.

I don't believe so
I’ve watched Wall play and I think he can play SG or combo with him running ISO’s. Its still a very tricky situation however. If scouts are so sure that Wall will become better than Curry and become a franchise star, unfortunately, the Warriors should trade off Curry for a star PF. Then they will also have to trade Ellis (they should try to include Maggette) for good players (preferrably a really good SG).
