Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap
Don Nelson
On tonight's game:
"Well, we’re not going to get too full of ourselves, but it sure was nice to break the losing streak and really play well play together and have a lot of fun tonight."
On Stephen Curry:
"I’m very happy he got the triple-double. That was kind of fun. Team’s really happy for him. That’s the first triple-double since Webber got one when he was a rookie, I guess. Everybody played great."
On Anthony Tolliver:
"I'm very happy for Tolliver, as well. He missed a free throw, he could’ve had a chance to have 30 in an NBA game. How about that? That’s pretty darn good. The guy’s pretty much got the whole package if he can continue to develop. He can guard, he can rebound, he can shoot. So there are a lot of positives there and Morrow had a great game. Just everybody played well."
Stephen Curry
On his triple-double:
"My teammates kind of made that clear about six minutes left in the game, I think we were in a timeout and I think everyone of them told me I was two rebounds away, so everybody was into it. It means a lot, it was my first one ever and I give credit to God for getting me into this position. We were playing together tonight, it was a lot of fun. And to able to perform that well, and especially in situations as a team where we’ve lost so many in a row and now we get that feeling of victory before we go into All-Star break. Now we can have some fun over the weekend and come back on Tuesday rested up, so it was definitely a great performance. "
On the team shooting 62%:
"It just started with guys getting penetration and kicking it to an open man, and you could see we were shooting the ball well so everybody felt the need to get everyone else involved. The extra pass was always made in the 1st quarter, which got us rolling and got us ahead early, which we needed with Monta’s (Ellis) and Corey’s (Maggette) absence because they put up so many points and rebounds for us. If we got down early we were not going to have a chance to win. So it was a key for us to come out and start rolling."
Anthony Morrow
On the team being excited about Curry's triple-double:
"That’s the kind of stuff we need, just camaraderie, guys going on out there. The kid made history. It’s a great situation for him. He’s working so hard, he deserves it."
On being more aggressive without Ellis and Maggette:
"Yeah, we all do. Everybody has to step up. We have two All-Stars out so you have to step up and fill that void. It’s not easy to do at all. The only thing I can say is we've just been playing hard and guys have been putting in a lot off effort. It was just a good win for us."
Anthony Tolliver
On his development:
"I think I can be someone that can be offensively talented and someone that can bring defensive intensity every night. Hopefully I've developed into something like that, where I can help teams win - if that’s score or defend or rebound whatever it is, I’m willing to do it."
On Stephen Curry:
"He was great. I didn’t realize he was rebounding like he was until the ending and they were saying ‘He only needs two more’ and that was about 10 minutes left. Something like a triple double doesn’t happen very often for most people, so for him to able to put up those type numbers offensively and boards and distribute the ball like he did it was phenomenal. "

You're welcome, whew!
This was an overloaded edition. Pregame videos, postgame videos, Warriors Weekly TV and Radio all rolled into one post. That’s tiring to go through them all at once and sort them out.

Yup
Right after a video is uploaded, the video is still being processed on the Youtube side so you get the low quality version for a few hours.
So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.

steph
looked like a mix of steve nash and jason kid. i havent ever seen anything like that from a rookie. ive always been on the don’t trade monta bandwagon, but after this game if we can get proven star on this team for curry to play with, and obviously get are team healthy, we may be able to watch something special for the years to come. if made made tolliver look that good imagine what he would make some like amari look like.
It's just a plant, it grows in the earth, and if you happen to set it on fire there are some effects...
'Amare' can kiss GSW's backside as far as I am concerned...
Overpaid, over-rated, with an arrogance to thumb his nose at GSW….if he showed interest, he should be told to take a hike… there are MANY more players I would prefer to take than Amare, he had his chance and he basically told us to get stuffed.
However, the ‘Kid’ really is going to surprise many people who couldnt see it… he genuinely IS THAT GOOD…and STILL only 5 months into his NBA career!!!!! Was Monta making Triple Doubles 5 months into his NBA career?… This lad is going to be something VERY special…if Monta can take his ‘Supastaaaa’ head off and concentrate on doing what he does best and being the athletic 2 that I think he needs to focus on…The Curry/Ellis backcourt could work… but equally…. if we could teach Morrow to defend HARD…. I would not have ANY hesitation in trading Monta and Maggette for an All-Star….3 or 4…..
To me personally…I find the prospect of :
Curry/CJ
Morrow/Bell
All-star/Buike
Biedrins/Randolph
All-star/Wright
With back-ups:
Turiaf
Hunter
Tolliver
Radman
Actually pretty attractive… I think that is definitely a playoff contender…

I just wish he’d stop pointing to the rafters everytime he scores. I can help but wonder wtf? Is the roof getting ready to fall in? a UFO?? We are number one and I didn’t get the news???

It's a religious thing
A lot of guys do it
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"
It's a religious thing?
I think he’s wasting his time then. Why would god want to hold up the oracle roof when he just let it fall on 200000 hatians?
Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

Im so happy
That instead of practicing free throws Beans is breaking oracle, i sure hope Mr Elision doesn’t see this! Also curry was unreal tonight the whole team was, In oranginos video you hear “who are these guys!?” thats just what i was thinking
Nice Guys
George’s interview was interesting and he seems to be a very nice guy. Azubuike also made a good impression and Morrow and Curry seem to have a good time.
"It really is a choice of whatever rotten fruit you fancy least." (Kelly Dwyer about NBA Franchise owner)
And George said one thing that stuck with me
He said something about when you’re doing things the wrong way but still winning, you end up not fixing those things. And it made me think about whether or not there’s such thing as a “good loss” or a “bad win”. Some people have the stance of “a loss is a loss” and “a win is a win”, that there’s no such thing as a “moral victory”. But I’ve always believed that there are good things you can take and build on, even in a loss, and there are things to be disgruntled about, even in a win.
Well, I’m not sure exactly where I’m going with this point. I guess I’m impressed with this nugget of wisdom from Devean George.
