Bah, I wasn’t going to watch the celeb game this year… But Mully is in it!

I might have to watch it now and suffer through Chris Tucker missing more shots than the rest of his teammates combined.

Well I guess on the bright side

We will have a winner, no matter who takes the rook/soph game.

And I so hope Morrow hits 7- 3s and takes the mvp.

Morrow is

Listed as 6’5" on NBA.com, and he’s a long 6’5". Wonder where they got that 6’3" bs. Everyone else thinks the dubs roll with nothing but 6’3" guards I guess.

Chris Mullin

He’s teammates with Common, but I was planning on rooting for the other team since they have Terrell Owens, Chris Tucker and the great Doctor Oz.

I officially have no rooting interest. I just hope this is entertaining.

Even though I'll be heavily rooting for Curry and Morrow...

And feel that Curry or Evans have a good chance of getting MVP..

I really think Russel Westbrook is going to tear it up tonight.

Seeing that guy live, man he is just an absolute stud. If the Thunder didn’t have Kevin Durant and Jeff Green where he was in a similar situation as Monta is with our Warriors carrying everything on his shoulders….I think Westbrook would be averaging 40 points , 5 reb, 5 asst, 3 stls PER GAME.

I think Russ Dub scores 47 points tonight.

The number one question about Jennings: “could he make the shot?”

The answer so far in his NBA career: “no.”

There will be no extra point!

by Sleepy Freud on Feb 12, 2010 6:34 PM PST reply actions

Jennings

He’d only be a sophomore in college right now. Did you expect him to be lights out in his rookie season? He’s streaky with the shot, but he will get it down in a few years. He has shown plenty of flashes of it already this season.

Field Goal Attempts

Only Taj Gibson and Jonas Jerebko have taken fewer shots than Stephen Curry on the team.

11 more shots than Curry so far. He’s making himself look bad by being a little to hoggish.

I care more about how curry and morrow perform in an actual Warrior game.

Its just good to see them out there and representin Bay Area California.

what the heck?

I’m a little dissappointed. Curry and Morrow haven’t taken many shots, and Evans and Jennings are ball hogging, so Curry and Morrow should too.

How the heck was Eric Gordon even qualified for the contest?

The guy only has 7 dunks all year. Theychose the contestants for the halftime thing a couple months ago, so they should have picked a different sophomore like Randolph before he was injured.

So like, four shots in a meaningles exhibition game negate the fact that he is, without question, the best 3-pt shooter in the NBA?

But he has such a winning personality!

MVP Candidates
  1. DeJuan Blair: 21 points (11-for-19), 23 rebounds
  2. Tyreke Evans: 26 points (11-for-15), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals
  3. Brandon Jennings: 22 points (11-for-23), 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals

Evans had 5 assists????

Must have been balls knocked away from him when he was driving to the basket. Never saw the guy pass except to his Sac teammate Casspi

dunno

thats a tough one…curry definitely more refined, but nobody averaged 20-5-5 since lebron as a rookie….

think tyreke has a lot of room to grow, coulda been nice next to monta, but curry is still dope, gonna be awesome with monta too, and will end up as a better PG than tyreke i’m sure

by Essential on Feb 12, 2010 8:13 PM PST up reply actions

Tyreke and Monta are wayyyy to similar

by randolphforpresident on Feb 12, 2010 9:57 PM PST up reply actions

Must have been Evan’s defense against Westbrook that got him the award.

Plus Blair was just rebounding against scrubs like; Lopez, Love, and Gasol.

by MDB on Feb 12, 2010 9:20 PM PST reply actions

That was pretty entertaining

Nice to watch a game where the defense is better than the Dubs even when it don’t matter, the rebounding wasn’t too shabby either considering only one guy on the rooks was doing any. Gumby has a motor doesn’t he? and Gasol sounds pretty cool on the air, I din’t know he could speak english so well. Watchin this game just makes it sadder that Montay was shafted by Stern, ME#8 woulda put on a better show for the folks in the big allstar game than either JKidd or Kaveman. Oh Well, I guess that just means I can do something more productive with my time since we won’t have a guy in it?

Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.
