Former NBA player Dennis Scott, working for NBA TV, says Anthony Morrow could be a trade commodity.
"I've heard teams talking about, 'How can we make a move to go get him?' " Scott told the San Francisco Chronicle. "He would be perfect for a playoff team that has a player who gets double-teamed." No, please don't do it!!! Please you good for nothing front office, DO NOT TRADE MORROW!!!! If they dare trade Morrow he's just going to be another future all-star that we trade away... We've seen what he can do in games. He commands attention and sometimes even the best wing defender has to be put on him. Once he learns how to move really well without the ball, use screens, gets plays called for him, and starts to take more shots without caring about his FG% he's going to be very very deadly. And yes, it's true that he would be a very good player on a playoff team. Just imagine if he was on a team like the Magic where I'm sure he would be there starting SG. Morrow is a rare diamond in this league and we'll never be able to find someone to replace him. THE ONLY way I'd trade him for is if we really got a superstar in return somehow. A package of Wright + Morrow+ Maggette for a SUPERSTAR. NOTHING LESS!!!
