Anthony Morrow to replace Derrick Rose in rookie-sophmore game!
"Golden State Warriors guard Anthony Morrow will replace Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose on the sophomore roster for the 2010 Rookie Challenge, to be played Friday, February 12 at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
Rose was excused from the Rookie Challenge in consideration of being named to the Eastern Conference roster for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game and his participation as defending champion in the Skills Challenge on All-Star Saturday Night.
Morrow, in his second season out of Georgia Tech, is averaging 11.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 36 games for the Warriors."
Hopefully he still makes the 3 point shootout!!

Wow that was totally
unexpected. I’d think Jerryd Bayless would make the team.
Yeah
Morrow’s been on somewhat of a decline, which is why it surprised me as well that they liked him enough to put him on the team.
It should be fun watching Curry and Morrow play. I’m pretty sure a lot of people will wonder who the hell is Anthony Morrow, so hopefully Anthony puts on a great show to make everyone believe in him like we do!

I still hope he makes the 3 point shootout too, but when someone with a jumpshot like his starts firing up a few shots, the world will take notice. Anthony Morrow isn’t going to be a secret after All-Star Weekend.
heart of a champion, will of the warrior.
Well, yeah, but don’t damper my optimism. Stuff like this is all I have!
heart of a champion, will of the warrior.
In that case,
Anthony Morrow will hit a corner 3, then hit one in his defender’s face from the wing, then hit one from the top of the key, then step into a DEEP 3 in transition.
Also
There might be a chance that Morrow gets into the three point contest.
If he got enough recognition to make the Sophomore team, then it should mean that he has enough rep to be in the 3 pt contest. When you think about it, the only reason he’s in the Sophomore team is because of his great shooting, and since his shooting ability is getting recognition then he’ll probably be considered for the three point contest as well.
Yup, just stating the obvious. Kind of a useless comment right here haha.

It be nice if Randolph played. Wonder if Curry can resist the temptation to pass it to Morrow. haha.
Niceeee
And if Monta makes the all star game, that will be 3 Warriors participating in the all star weekend. Kinda sad Randolph couldn’t showcase his skills this year to get in there too
Too bad Randolph got injured, then he’d probably get it over Morrow. But then again, if that were to happen that would be super small ball on the rookies’ part vs. super big man ball for the sophs.

3 Point Contest
They’ve been saying the contestants were supposed to be announced today. I’ve been checking all day and have gotten nothing. THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME! LOL.
Anthony Morrow's jumper is so pure, he has to cut it with baking soda.
