I can’t hate on Barnett, I’ve always dug him as an announcer, and now this! get it son!

Warrior fans are lucky to have him calling our games, He’s one of the best out there.
Dont believe me, if any of you have league pass just listen to almost any other NBA team’s home announcers, for true measuring stick.

Fitz on the other hand well, not so much.

I think many of Dub fans are aware of his awesomeness.

I don’t know if you were there for GSOM Night 8, where we had the Q&A with Morrow but Fitz was the one doing the questioning. When we were all sitting and waiting, we saw Barnett leaving on the other side of the court. People starting yelling his name to get his attention and we then started to cheer and clap for him haha. He turned around with kind of a surprised look and waved at us. It was good stuff.

One of my favorite parts of watching Warrior games

Sometimes, watching all this losing is just too much, but listening to Barnett’s color commentary makes it worth it, definitely one of the best in the business. He tells it like it is, if we get a call, he says we got lucky, not that we deserved it, unlike somebody else that I must listen to during Warriors games (ahem, FITZ). I recall the Sac game when Curry got straight MOBBED by Nocioni and he said that Curry should’ve gotten up and gotten into his face. Straight up tells it like it is and how the game should be played.

I've always wanted Barnett to Coach or at least be our Assistant

He seems like he could really knock some sense into our youngins. He’d be awesome… well at least from what I hear from him every game.

And he said something along the lines of, out of respect, I try to not give players/coaches pointers at all since it is a sign of disrespect, as if saying they weren’t doing their job efficiently. But I totally agree, I think he’d make an awesome assistant coach, a real player’s coach, knows how the players think, and knows what they want to hear, what they need to hear, and when they need to hear either of the two.
