Huge win for twolves!
With the T Wolves 3rd straight win tonight (vs. dallas) Minnesota is only one win behind our Warriors for 3rd worst record in the NBA meaning the Warriors are 1 game out of more lottery ping pong balls. And with Washington’s win today that only leaves 2 teams just 3 wins ahead of us. I like that margin.
Don’t blow it Warriors!
We believe! #1 Pick in 2010!
Nice to AR's face
I wish we had him. I’d love to see him run wild than to see a bunch of D-Leaguers overtake our bench.
Also in other NBA news
Chauncey Billups showed why he deserves the All-Star and 3pt contest spots by absolutely dismantling the Lakers tonight at Staples Center. Billups was 9-13… from 3 pt range! 39 points, 8 assists, 4 boards, 2 turnovers, 126-113 Win.

Links update:
Added Rusty Simmons article with some Larry Riley quotes.
I am friends with Tolliver
He was informed 3 hrs ago that he WILL be signed tomorrow by the Warriors for the rest of the year.
congrats to him!
he’s really been putting in great effort
You know I spit technique to the freshest freak
Gimme a call you will see results in just a week

Is there a heaven for a Rap Cat, let's talk
Yeah a great effort jacking up a ton of ugly, unwarranted, bricked threes.
He’s got a great build to his body. He should stick to rebounds and work on post/slashing moves.

edit: I understand Tolliver allegedly has a three somewhere in his arsenal...
but for now if he can’t find it he needs to move on and try to contribute in some other fashion. build his confidence and then work on that stroke.

no enforcer on this team like Al 'the destroyer'
Attles. The tape segment about him mentioned two incidents when he protected a ‘mate (Meschery) or a player he coached (Barry of course). When Jackson left, this squad was down to no one who’d intercede, and none of the ‘bigs’(Attles is 6’1) serves as an enforcer, either. Curry was body slammed twice in the Sac game, no foul on the first and Nocioni for a flagrant the second time, but no one got in Nocioni’s grill. Turiaf might have said something, but it was Biedrins on the court at the time. Bell is another who’d step up, but the team is a long, long way from being respected on any level—opponents know by now they can even let Ellis go off for 40-50 and still beat down the team.
i've never seen Biedrins so frustrated and angry as in this single vid
obviously he IS in Nellies doghouse
and obviously he IS disappointed and angry
what’s next?
WTF FTW!
Trade

and obviously he IS disappointed and angry
and he should be if he’s fully recovered and they are not featuring him in the game plan anymore. Dre’s got some unique skills we should be taking advantage of but the coach has to put the effort into the game planning to make them pay off.
Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

Dre’s got some unique skills

Morrow
On not being in the 3 point contest:
“Guess I’ll have to lead the league again.”
Sh*t, I'ma try to make more than that. -Morrow, when asked if he'll try to make 6-7 3's in the rookie game to prove a point.
