The League really loves Curry
Lo' and behold, you go to nba.com, click on their All-Star page, and the first thing you see is a picture of Curry and an article called "Curry among young talent aiming for Cook".
This is on 02/08/10 around 11pm, so I imagine if you don't check the page out soon they'll change it to something else.

A rookie with NBA blood that has no tats and a big name college guy?
And doesn’t talk trash in the media and is a good influence?WHAT? Of course there going to love him
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"
imagine if he actually played for a popular team
all of his recognition would be 10x crazier right now.

There’s the reason why they picked Curry and not Morrow to enter into the three point contest.
The way the team is playing, there is not much to watch, but if Curry can have a good showing in front of a national audience, it would give some exposure to a team that is not getting to much national coverage.
But if Morrow was in
He would WIN the contest in front of a national audience, giving better exposure to a team that is not getting too much national coverage.
Disaster averted, and the basket converted!
Curry has established himself as a more well rounded player,
Why don’t the change the name to the "well rounded player shootoff " then instead of the three point shootoff?
They should just be required to add the previous years winner of the contest and the three point shooting % and three pointers scored. That would give the field three guys with unquestionable cred.and then they could add Stern’s fluff piece and the current season leaders to round it out.
Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

Why does the NBA do anything, its to maximize their exposure and revenue. No one knows who Anthony Morrow is. As it was, I was surprised he got invited to the rookie/sophmore game.
Do have to agree with you that it would be nice that the NBA include the player that led the league in three point % a year ago.
