Wow, I want to at least see the Ellis-Curry backcourt for 20 games, and want Biedrins to boost his trade value but that's not going to happen. Oh well, Curry will put up even more stats to boost his R.O.Y. campaign.

Is this anything

like Al Harrington’s “bad back”

by saint.dee on Mar 1, 2010 12:58 PM PST reply actions

Possible, but i doubt it

Monta looked way off in his last game. Plus Monta showed up to the last home practice, though he didn’t do any practice.

IQ

How do you know all this? Do you have someone on the inside helping you out?

If you're referring to Monta showing up in practice

No, it was reported in one of the articles that I read when I do my practice links. This one:

Curtis Pashelka: Warriors’ Morrow regains shooting touch

All the information I get is based on whatever the writers write or tweet. I wish I had someone on the inside. Then I don’t have to guess if a non-game day is a practice day, a travel day, or a real day off.

this is what i was thinking

someone on realgm that is usually a realible source said that warriors managment said monta’s time as a warrior is over. and that was yesterday…but who knows, let the conspiracy theories get started

It would be nice

to package Biedrins with Monta if he does end up leaving.

Don’t you think that they would have done something before the trading deadline if this were true? what ’s the point in them announcing it now?

Days as a Warrior is over? A week after the trade deadline?? How does that even make any sense???

Good news reporting, rec

Monta needs some rest anyway. Plus we just increased our ping pong ball chances! Let’s hope Reggie Williams tries to play too hard and overshoot everything, improving our chances at losing.

by IQofaWarrior on Mar 1, 2010 1:18 PM PST reply actions

Please, explain.

   Better players = more wins
but of course we don’t want wins right now so Montay and Dre on the shelf is a positive situation
( unless the D leaguers flunked math I guess)

Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

Curry will put up even more stats to boost his R.O.Y. campaign.

This would be the best of both worlds. Curr-bury get s the ROY award and we get a top pick that becomes next year’s ROY. There’s a lot more strategy involved in NBA basketball than just winning every game, sometimes being bad is the best course.

Lights please, lights please, turn off the lights.

So we have

…5 healthy players? Yay.

by BayFan on Mar 1, 2010 1:30 PM PST reply actions

Hmmm, let's take a look at the roster

Curry, CJ, Morrow, George, Tolliver, Turiaf, Hunter. 7 guys, available, plus the 10-day Reggie Williams, so that makes 8 as of right now.

by IQofaWarrior on Mar 1, 2010 1:36 PM PST up reply actions

YIKES

The highest paid players are injured: Bell, RadMan, Monta, Beans and Maggs
Somewhat bargain players are already out for the season: Randolph,Wright, and Buike

How the hell can this team even compete on this road trip? Somehow I think they can squeeze out 2 wins with Curry, Morrow, CJ and Tolliver — not bad.

Win the inning.

by Scooter Ellis on Mar 1, 2010 1:56 PM PST up reply actions

no way

maybe 1 win at the most!!!

by tolliver on Mar 1, 2010 2:05 PM PST up reply actions

Here's the roadtrip

@Heat @Magic @Hawks @Bobcats @Hornets

Heat and Magic back-to-back
1 day off
Hawks and Bobcats back-to-back
1 day off
Hornets

5 games in 7 nights. Maybe we can beat the Hornets. The others, I’m not even close.

I'll take an oh-fer!

we still need 24 wins...

Just to be clear

Monta’s not yet ruled out from the ENTIRE road trip. Matt Steinmetz says the results of his back will come in later today, then a decision:

“Biedrins won’t play at all. Seeing hernia specialist next week in Philly. Ellis getting results (back) later today, then decision”

by IQofaWarrior on Mar 1, 2010 1:33 PM PST reply actions

I predict 1-4

at least one team will take us for granted and we’ll have a hot shooting night. hawks will want revenge – no win there. heat are in a rut. bobcats too athletic and are fighting for a playoff spot, magic has some center who is supposed to be really good.
I say we beat hornets or heat – if anyone.

fantastic...

The only warriors game I will be attending all year (vs Orlando) is now going to be painful to watch. I had hoped to see most of our core group of players and now I’ll have to settle for curry and morrow pretty much.

And the tickets cost 150+ each…. sigh

It really does

I got one of the 4-packs earlier this season (not pretty) and was at the game Randolph got injured (sighhh). So very frustrating.

Wow, I want to at least see the Ellis-Curry backcourt for 20 games

They’ve played more than 20 games together this season.

by samuraaaaiiiiiii on Mar 1, 2010 3:07 PM PST reply actions

Not with Curry being the primary ballhandler.

by warriorsnut on Mar 1, 2010 5:01 PM PST up reply actions

Yaaay...

more injuries.

We will not be good next season no matter what.
We’re going to draft John Wall but he will go down during training camp and miss the whole season.
Monta will get back on the moped and the rest of the team will all be injured.
Our starting line-up will consist of
-Cj Watson
-Coby Karl
-Reggie Williams
-Anthony Tolliver
-Chris Hunter

Larry Ellison gives up on the Warriors and Cohan continues to rule around here,
Don Nelson will coach us for another 4 years and will get his record win on 12/21/2012
Last but not least,Curry will demand a trade.
