Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap
Keith Smart
On tonight's game:
"We didn’t compete at a level we needed to even have a chance against this team. I’m not even saying to probably win it, but you need to have a very high competitive level from the very first quarter to have a chance to make them have to play with Duncan on the floor a little bit more. That wasn’t the case early on and then we had to play catch-up, and then it just snowballed from there. We don’t have enough people to play against this type of team. We’re very small, they’re very big."
On the Spurs:
"This team is very patient. They start inside with Duncan, who is going to make plays. Ginobili is playing at a very high level right now. Any mistakes you make defensively they’re going to capitalize on. We made a couple mistake on defense when we ran into each other and didn’t switch. Every time we did that they found the open guys. This team has been together and they’ve got some veteran guys that make plays off your mistakes."

So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.

Yeah, that's how bad this loss was
I don’t think orangino WANTS to make highlights of this game.

Why didn’t we keep coach montgomery and give him some time to learn the NBA game?

gswscribe said the dubs are keeping Reggie, I wonder who gets cut

Yeah, I noticed his conversations about it
I was saving that as a poll question tomorrow to see who gsomers want to waive.
by IQofaWarrior on Mar 19, 2010 10:11 PM PDT up reply actions
Probably George or Bell. Vlad’s a possibilty but i doubt it. They can use his expiring next season.
Nellie needs to go! but while we suffer....John Wall or Evan Turner please!
I have an idea on who I think the Warriors will cut
but I don’t want to say it until after I ask the poll question
by IQofaWarrior on Mar 19, 2010 10:20 PM PDT up reply actions
Oooh, after reading MT2's article
on the Warriors options, I’m not so sure now. I thought they would cut Raja Bell over Devean George because George is a healthy body and a “big” man, sort of. But after reading that cutting Raja Bell reduces the chances of getting him back, and that the Warriors really want him, I’m not so sure now. They might cut George and take their chances on the Warriors health these final 14 games. Plus cutting a healthy body makes it easier for the Warriors to tank.
So my call is to cut George, gamble that we won’t get a serious injury, and tank it for the last 14 games.

That's the way I was leaning too
I was really starting to like Old Man George too…
The Warriors can tank all the games they want, but they better beat up the Knicks because I’m going to that game haha

Just added
Mt2 recap. Ok, NOW I need to get to sleep.
Wow… it’s a good thing I didn’t watch the game tonight. Who the hell allows the slow and boring Spurs to score over 110 points, much less 147…?
By having to face literally NO defense.
Our inside guys couldn’t defend well because of foul issues from the get go. Our guards (especially CJ setting the tone) were HORRENDOUS at keeping their guy in front of them. Ellis seemed to give up pretty quickly and would just go for the steal every time, which I don’t blame him for based on his teammates terrible D and his own.
You know I spit technique to the freshest freak
Gimme a call you will see results in just a week

well actually I was gonna get tossed out here in a couple of minutes. That way I can still get a drink and watch some of these tournament games.
Chris Cohan- YOU'RE FIRED!
Tank it
Looks like Tyreke may have broken his jaw, we’ll need these next few losses unless the Kings can really pull some outta their butts
So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.
