hah
Funny how the last time he did that it was to Adonal Foyle, when J-Rich was still a Warrior (Amare shoved J-Rich to the ground at the end of that game back then)… but now J-Rich is on the Suns supporting Amare after the vicious dunk.
It’s like an instant replay (The way the dunk happened, the way Amare showed his jersey after both dunks) but this time my favorite player, J-Rich, is on the other team. haha.

It's funny how people would rather have Andris than STAT...

Straight up Beans for Amare? Uh…..

Was it?
Perhaps that was the offer the Dubs had, but the Suns clearly wanted Curry after the draft, and i wouldn’t trade even Curry for Amare straight up.

Curry was involved
WEll, our pick in the draft was involved. And Amar’e said he wouldn’t come back, so it would be a year of Amar’e for Beans, Curry and BWright. The Warriors would have been more inept than their usual selves to do that.

I'd rather have an expiring contract
Than Andris….Imagine the moves we could make with a new owner…

Sure
But it’s not just Beans that would be gone if we did get an Amare rental. Too bad it couldn’t be Beans and Maggette hahaha, now I would have done that in an instant.

who?
I would rather have curry, andris and wright, but andris for stat straight up? I dont know who would not do that.
Not even
Well when comparing Biedrins to Amare, people simply thought that Amare was an overrated big that can’t rebound. They also said that Amare’s scoring is irrelevant and unnecessary since the Warriors don’t need any more scorers.
Yeah, Warriors already are a high scoring team, but all of our scorers are perimeter players. We don’t have any big men that we can rely on to score inside. How many times have we tried to win games by chucking outside shots when it would have helped to have a scorer down low? Yeah, we lose because we can’t rebound, but it’s not like Biedrins is a rebounding GOD that’s 10x better at getting boards than Amare.
At least with Amare, we wouldn’t have to chuck up shots all the time because we can go down low and play an inside-outside game. Biedrins needs a perfect pass within 5 feet of the basket just to make a shot, no wonder why his FG% is so high. Amare can do that, but he can also initiate his own offense. His teammates don’t have to worry about looking for the perfect pass within 5 feet of the basket, they can just give the ball to Amare in the post and let him do his job.
I understand why people love Biedrins, though. They think he’s great on defense because he’s tall. His high FG% means he can score at will and no one can stop him, he’s unstoppable! He’s still young, which means he still has potential, so we can’t trade him for an all-star to help us win.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Biedrins. I still have faith in him. He’s a great big man that could help any team. He will be good once he gets better utilized and has the team run plays for him, but if I had to choose between him and Amare, I would pick Amare.

We rejected the Amare trade because
it was a 1-year rental.

worked well with Holliday for the A’s, not
"elevates and detonates"
just horrible. I’m sure he’s been keeping that one in the holster for a while, waiting to pull it out at the perfect moment. I used to have the League Pass back in NY, and so I got to hear a TON of crappy announcers from other teams while the W’s were on the road. Fitz gets a lot of flack on this site, but compared to other cities’ he’s the best house in a bad neighborhood. Barnett is easily one of the best color-men in the league.
