GAME THREAD #60: Golden State Warriors @ Orlando Magic - The D-League All Stars travel to Disneyworld

Golden State Warriors at Orlando Magic, Mar 3, 2010 4:00 PM PST

Dwight_howard_superman_medium

Warriors (W-L): 17-41

Magic (W-L): 41-20

Tip Off: 4:00pm PST

TV: CSN | Radio: KNBR

Blog Buddy: Orlando Pinstriped Post

"We've been known for this lately, having seven or eight young guys go out there and just try to compete," Warriors point guard Stephen Curry said.

Well, I'm glad to the kid has a better attitude towards this "NBA team" than I do.  Check out yesterday's recap against the Heat for a little taste of what me and my buddies are saying about the "Warriors."

Star-divide

So now what?  Back-to-back nights against the two Florida teams + 8 active players (only 3 drafted) = automatic loss for the Warriors.  This one is NOT going to be pretty...but hey, at least we can watch Dwight Howard go for a double-double and destroy our center Ronny Turiaf!

Dwight-howard-holding-rim_medium

R Dizzle's Predictions

  • Warriors win by 1
  • Stephen Curry with 25 points, 5 assists, 5 boards
  • Dwight Howard with 15 rebounds, 5 blocks
  • We all turn off the game around halftime...

Where's the option where I'm going to watch the whole game?

Btw, post game links will be late after the game if I can’t catch up with my work quickly today. Will record and watch the whole game if I miss it. Darn these East coast games.

I don’t know if this team is better and has a better chance of winning without Monta but the ball DEFINITELY moves around A LOT better when he’s out. More visual studying tonight…

Southern Conference

That’s where Davidson plays.

The Ultimate Opportunist

by Rated-R Superstar on Mar 3, 2010 4:44 PM PST up reply actions

Yes

Anthony Johnson, who played for College of Charleston, is on the Orlando Magic and that school is also in the Southern Conference. That school beat Davidson last season in the conference’s postseason tournament and that cost Stephen Curry a chance to play in the 2009 tournament because Davidson couldn’t get an automatic bid. Playing in the Southern Conference, you’re of course not going to get an at-large bid.

ZOMG

we’re coming back without CURRY!

TRADE CURRY!

by saint.dee on Mar 3, 2010 4:48 PM PST reply actions

CURRY is

1-8 he dominates the ball and is a ballhog!

by saint.dee on Mar 3, 2010 4:49 PM PST up reply actions

Or the more logical

reason is that he plays too many minutes just like Monta earlier,,

by saint.dee on Mar 3, 2010 4:49 PM PST up reply actions

Same with Monta

people don’t cut Monta any slack.

by saint.dee on Mar 3, 2010 4:50 PM PST up reply actions

the thing about Monta is

Nellie usually leave him in even if he’s jakcing up shots. Curry he’ll take out
