The Warriors finished the month of February 4-8, their best month since November. With Monta Ellis and Corey Maggette missing a combined 11 games, some of the other Warriors were able to garner more playing time. The month was highlighted by two blowout wins over division foes Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers, which featured great performances by CJ Watson and Stephen Curry.

Curry had his best month of the season, and with the absence of Ellis and Maggette, became the team's go-to scorer on a nightly basis. Curry scored 23 or more in 7 games, averaging 21.5 points for the month. In addition he added 7.3 assists per game and is unquestionably the team's best passer. Curry's performances against the Clippers in which he recorded a 36-13-10 triple double and a 30-13-7 performance on TNT against Denver stand out. As the Warriors playoff hopes are long gone, the main storyline for the rest of the season may be a showdown between Ellis and Curry to stake their claim as the franchise player.
