Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap

Don Nelson
On tonight's game:
"It was a good game. We played our hearts out. We came up shorts again. In five games on this road trip, we actually played four really good games. I have to be pleased with the way that we’re playing. We just can’t seem to scratch a win out."

On staying in the game while being severely out-rebounded:
"That’s nothing new. We did it by making threes and shooting a high percentage. I haven’t seen the turnovers yet, but, normally, when you get beat that bad on the boards, your turnovers are down. I don’t really know what that number was. It was probably pretty good."

On Devean George:
"He always surprises me. He had something in the tank tonight, probably because he hasn’t played that much in a couple of games. So, he had a little something for me there. Your offense always runs good when he’s in there because he’s a veteran and he knows where to be and how to be there. He was good. We were all good tonight."
Reggie Williams
On his scoring:
"I tried to bring it. I beat them a few times early. If I went to the right, it was open a lot more. I was just knocking down shots; the long range jump shots were falling."

On the defense:
"I thought we played good defense. I thought where it killed us was on the boards. I didn’t do a good job rebounding. That definitely didn’t help. They out-rebounded us by 20. They got a lot of loose balls that we couldn’t get to and that led to a lot of second chance points."
Devean George
On his performace:
"Wherever he puts me out there, whatever assignment he gives me, I’m going to do my best to play hard. I try to gain the coach’s confidence. You want to play hard in any position he puts you in. You just want the coach to gain confidence in you."

On tonight's game:
"We just played hard. We had problems with the boards. But we just played hard; we’re scrappy. If you play hard, the numbers really don’t matter."

My Notebook

- No interesting notes to add tonight.

What's next?

- The road trip's finally over. Warriors get 2 days off, then a 4 game home stand, no back-to-backs, starting with Blazers on Thursday on TNT.
- Reggie Williams was signed on Tuesday Mar 2. His 10th and final day of his 1st contract is on Thursday vs Blazers.
- Matt Steinmetz with another weekly noon live chat on his chat page.
- There should be another episode of Warriors Weekly TV posted on Youtube tomorrow or Wednesday.

Ha, I like the doctor option. Is “Mr. Ping Pong Ball” a therapist or is he going to give us a cure or what?

2010 NBA Mock Draft

……..suspense for the lottery teams!

So, who does GSW need position wise?

I say either PF or C or SF or PG (if GSW trades Ellis – which I believe will occur)

And AR is the 4

Can we draft a new owner?

So let me get this straight... Maggette is the healthy guy.
